There was a problem, not of my making, this morning that rendered board inaccessible - sorry.

(Or should that have been "for operational reasons" the board was not accessible!)

Is it your fault that the Jet2 site was very slow this morning?

BTW having just booked summer school holiday flights for 5 of us for next year does anyone have an arm and a leg they don't need? I've parted with mine.

Fortunately it's from East Midlands. And Jet2 seem less affected by the shambles than most. But fingers crossed we'll get abroad for at least one day of our fortnight!

Just to add, that last post took ages to load, with an error message along the way.

I noticed yesterday that the loading of pages was a little slower and things are haven’t improved today…I’ve been giving it some thought and if David doesn’t make me up to captain, I’m going to spread rumours about his website reconfiguration abilities  :D

I composed a lengthy reply giving my timing problems, but after it took over 4 minutes to get from the preview and submit it then died a sudden death and has disappeared into the ether.

I can't be bothered to write all all again but I am having worse problems than I did after Christmas when ever thing slowed down. It's even slower. I may have to jump ship!!

The forum is very slow and subject to frequent time out errors. I could not get in all morning and took to gate crashing one of Davids CC posts to advise him.
I hope he gets back with an update and promise of an improvement soon, currenyly the service is too erratic to be worthwhile.

Mine is exactly the same as it was before the alteration. It's been slow for several months now, slow to load and to move from topic to topic. I use Chrome on my laptop. Never mind, it's worth it when I get there. I can be patient and it's a problem some people seem to have.

There are a few settings that need to be "tweaked" over the next day or so as things start to settle in

I'll give it a bit longer to "settle" but the time it takes to move about is sooooooooooooooo long

It’s taking me about 3 seconds to move from one topic to another at the moment but I’m sure David is doing his best to sort things outs, including my promotion I hope  :D

Yes there are a few issues, but let’s not forget this is a free service David is providing us so I feel a little patience is required while as he says, ‘tweaks’ the system.

Having said that, get your ar*e into gear David or they’ll be a compo form winging its way to you

Seem to be working fine via my iPad. No issues at all.

Chucked another log on the fire earlier and it seems, to me at least, that it is running a lot quicker and smoother
