Not Brendan Rodgers. If Leicester are to get out of the mess they are in their best move would be to keep Brendan Rodgers.

Roy might come out of retirement (again) if you ask him nicely. He's quite fancy Chelsea.

You obviously haven't had to watch the brand of football he presents us with every week - keep possession, slow build up as far as the penalty area then take it back to the back four who will pass it around amongst themselves whilst the opponents get themselves back and organised, woeful defending especially from dead ball situations etc etc. I'm telling you it's pretty turgid and whilst we've got a pretty talented squad he's sapped the energy out of them. This has gone on for the past 12 months or so.
Brighton at the weekend were a delight to watch. Great football and they took us to the cleaners.

I can see it happening. Depending on what happens this year it will be interesting to see what happens to Steve Cooper at Forest who has done a great job of revitalising them.
On the basis of the number of players they have brought in I wonder if their team bus is now a double decker!!!

The Watford revolving door is open again.
Slavan Bilic being employed to be the latest to be fired after 10 games.
Honestly ?
One point off the playoffs.
Watford’s budget for paying off sacked managers probably exceeds most lower level teams total budget.

Watford gave Edwards a wonderful opportunity but he was all talk. It was a risk but he wasn't up to it, the Board are aiming for promotion yet Edwards still hasn't got a clue who his best team are or how to get the best out of the players at his disposal.

There was also a difference of opinion about strengthening the defence. Edwards said none was needed but he was wrong and every team we play drive a horse and coaches through the weak side.

Mr Bilic has a wealth of experience and should manage to get the team singing the same tune.

Patience is the key word. No manager is going to be able to turn a failing team around in such a short space of time. Rob Edwards was doing a good job. The Chairman or owner who keeps sacking managers after 5 minutes is a Muppet. Worse than that they must have been talking to Bilic while Edwards was still in charge. That is a disgusting way to treat a young manager who was okay 3 months ago, who had a difficult job and was doing well. I hope Watford get relegated.

Brendan Rogers will turn Leicester around. Don't panic, have some faith, the fans need to support him and help get the team over this difficult period.

The football at the KP has been poor for a long time despite having a talented pool of players at his disposal. The defence has been woeful and the team selection and tactics questionable. There's a lot which is wrong at Leicester at the moment and I can't see Rodgers pulling it round.

Patience. The last time Leicester were at the wrong end of the table look what happened the season after.

Isn't there some sort of transfer embargo going on? Leicester don't seem to have spent much on players just recently.

No money. For some reason we started paying average players £60-£70k a week. We have about eight on those contracts which end next year. Nobody wants them and they are happy to stay so we are stuck with them. Unrealistic and a huge mistake after we won the cup.

It's dog eat dog rather than let's be nice to Bob cos he's a good bloke. Patience is unfortunately not the key word ... survival at the highest possible level is the reality.

The Foxes could be relegated this season and especially so if they lose key players in the January window. Sad but entirely possible.

True. It's a business at the end of the day and all of this kissing the badge nonsense is a sham. Footballers nowadays are mainly mercenaries who will leave at the drop of a hat. Not all of them - Vardy has been loyal and all teams have similar examples but many follow money and the opportunity to win medals or the prestige of playing for a glamour team. It is indeed dog eat dog.
Our problem is FFR. No doubt we have the money but we run the risk of incurring FFR problems if we spend.

I was disappointed in the England goal keeper’s performance last night…Pope appeared to be out of his depth making several park football errors.

Patience is the key word Liverpool were patient with Klopp, Man United were patient with Ferguson, Arsenal were patient with Wenger, all three clubs had amazing success because of their patience. A decent manager will over haul the entire playing staff at a club from academy to first team and that takes time. Clubs who keep sacking their manager will never get success.

That's not Rogers fault and that's not the reason why Leicester haven't invested in the team this year.

Rodgers coaches the team, picks the team and decides tactics. Having watched them week in week out the quality of football is turgid.
Sounds like you know more than I do about City's financial position. I can only repeat what is being reported by the club.
