Good afternoon.....I'm thinking of buying a new television, so many to choose from. I like the sound of a Sony Bravia.

Anyone got one?

No.

Best thing to do is get yourself down to a John Lewis store for a viewing. They have plenty to choose from and you get a longer warranty.

We have two Sony Bravia TVs. The last one we bought for the conservatory only works by the remote. How to operate it if the remote should fail, not worked that out yet.
Both TVs we are happy with, and both come from J L.

Thanks guys very helpful. I've never bought anything fro John Lewis before, always to expensive. I'll do some price comparisons with Currys.

Just remember that JL offer a five year warranty which can be worth the extra few pounds. I also think you will be hard pushed to find a 32in TV of the brand your after.

I always buy from JL - on my last tv the screen was breaking up - they sent an engineer who said it wasn't worth repairing and offered a new tv under the warranty.

Yes you are right. They also offer a recycle and set up. You have to pay for it but it's something Currys don't offer.

You will find prices match Currys and Argos on lots of brands plus you don't feel all the staff have gone home.

Tonight on the One Show BBC1 7 pm. Graham Norton will announce whether Liverpool or Glasgow will host , on Ukraine's behalf, next year's Eurovision Vision song contest. Please try not to get to excited.

It's a done deal Bensham, Glasgow.
I would be very surprised if it's south of the border.

Well Liverpool it is. My thinking was that everything seems to get sent to the north.
More likely they were unsure what a Glasgow handshake was.

Good decision. Don't want to give Mrs Krankie any presents.
