I was surprised those two were in the dance off. They weren't the worst. But once they were the result was inevitable. And Shirley bizarrely disagreed. She's lost it completely. Is she Bensham in drag?

P.s. looks like Amy won't be free for coffee this week.

Bloody stupid programme. I'm never watching Strictly again.

Not till next week anyway.

Who's this Amy some of you keep on about? There ain't an Amy, unless I'm missing something. Which is quite possible.

She's a woman. Have you been paying any attention to them? Anyway who's your new favourite? Be careful or they could get voted off next.

Ultimately Richie didn't stand a chance.

Well I sort of worked that out, don't know any blokes called Amy. There ain't no Amy this year I'm sure of that. So who are you talking about?

My new favourite is Michelle from Coronation Street aka Kym Marsh.

I’m quite into Kym Marsh, I remember her when she was in the pop group “Hear Say”

Check this out Bensham,... Kym is the one on the right.

Amy Dowden. Pro dancing with the bloke off Eastenders.

There seems to be a pattern developing with the judging of the dance off where Shirley disagrees with all the other judges.

I wonder if it's possible that Shirley, in that situation, wants the couple already voted off a sympathy vote so they can feel that at least the head judge voted for them, or am I being too naïve?

I thought that as well Carol, however, a more likely reason is that she is too full of herself and likes to give the impression she knows better.

I think it’s time we nailed our colours to the strictly dance floor and choose our winner…

I would like to see Matt progress further as he comes across to me as real genuine chap, and not a bad dancer either.

I can see Molly in the final along with Will but my tenner (when I can get to the bookies) is going on Kym.

So, no sitting on the fence, where’s your 50p going?

It's all a bit too early for me. I'm still trying to fathom out who half of these so-called celebrities are.
Of course having got film week out of the way next we will have Hallowe'en weekend, another over hyped celebration imported from America. I could tell you who won't win it................

Too early to call for me too. Several possible winners. But please when is Tony going? Mind you even if he falls off the stage Shirley will vote to save him.

If I was Anton, after the first two judges had voted the same way I'd deliberately go the other to make Shirley actually cast a vote.

Foxy/Sir Merv…Next time I’m in the bookies I’m going to ask them if I can place my bet after they’ve jumped the last as well  :)

Well it has to be better than your present system!

But to be fair, when you are placing your guesses bets I'm sure you study the form. Would you bet on any novice horse that had only run three races to win the National? I need more form before I tell you the winner. I can tell you it won't be Richie or Tony.

I agree with Foxy, I still can't put names to faces. Once the line up gets smaller I might have a better idea as to who I think might win. The trouble is that it's not necessarily the best dancer, it's sometimes the person who is most popular with the public. I don't look forward to the Hallowe'en programme when they're all dressed up to the nines. Hallowe'en is so over done these days, purely to make money for the shops I think. When I was teaching I admit I was going to do something about Hallowe'en

Wow! How did that get submitted when I didn't even press the Submit tab? My laptop seems to be leaping all over the place, it drives me nuts. I've got the cursor on the lowest speed or whatever it's called and still I find that I'm in the middle of typing something and the cursor leaps to two lines above in the middle of a word. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was going on to say that when I was teaching a class of 7-8 year olds I was told by the Headmistress that I wasn't to mention Hallowe'en. Some of the parents had complained that their children had been talking about witches at home. My grandaughter, age 7, goes to a Church of England infant school and Hallowe'en hasn't been mentioned.

Novice horses don’t run in the National. :)

With regard to making early selections, I was thinking more along the lines of In-play betting whereby if your selection falls you get the chance to select another runner…which of course is what I shall do if Kym makes an early exit…. Btw, you can get 25/1 about Kym winning which seems a fair bet…Will is 5/2 fav

Nor do some of the old only good for pet food nags you back!

Anyway I had coffee yesterday morning with another fine fellow from the Forum.

Sadly Amy was unable to attend. Still that means she was working hard trying to whip that East End Oik into shape.
