Our mate Stephen

Unread post by Onelife »

Hi all, I received a message from our good mate Stephen today saying he’s feeling a little disgruntled about the hospital staff who have informed him that he’s the worst patient they’ve ever had to deal with…no surprises there then.

Well, I think it’s fair to say he’s had a pretty rough time this past week, what with them pumping every known medicine to man into him whilst attempting to bring things under control. He’s not out of the woods yet but is having a better day today. He hopes, as I’m sure we all do that it won’t be long before he’s back in his own bed…maybe, he thinks, in a couple + more days’ time.

He has requested that you don’t bother with grapes or flowers as he would prefer cash for his ongoing rehabilitation…this of course should be sent via his good mate Onelife who will forward any monies via his chocolate delivery service.

I’m sure he will delighted to know we all sending him our love and best kisses xx.

That’s the last I’ll see of that that then.

You get a right rough type of patient now, no not me. Not like the old days when you turned up in a suit with the financial times under your arm all ironed and ready to read. Now it’s gobby ar*se holes effing and blinding.

Didn’t realise you’d been admitted Merv :)

Of course, £300 a bag. Twenty logs per bag.

Private is not always best, a good friends husband decided to have a prostrate procedure done privately. All done, sent home within 48 hours developed sepsis. His wife who was a nurse fortunately saw the signs and got a taxi to a and e.

Kept in for a week, all fine now.
