Another honest MP bites the dust, Yes’, she made mistakes and yes, she has done the right thing under the circumstances, but we should never forget what part the power hungry Remainers have played in bringing our parliamentary system to its knees…add to this the toxic BBC who have no regard for what impact their headline seeking reporting has on the country. Absolutely nothing to do with it, she was just incompetent (an incompetence that has cost the tax payer and Britains reputation dearly) ... we went from a clown PM to a joker PM. I always said that Truss was a serial underachiever (like Johnson, always first inline to take credit for other peoples work).

Sunak was 100% correct in his analysis of Truss's policies, as the runner up he should be asked if he wants to take the PM post ... if he doesn't want it then see if Mordaunt does ... if not then there is Larry the cat... already on site and probably more competently than the last couple of PMs.

What we really need and deserve now is a general election.

Pray tell me, what experience has Sunak got that qualifies him to take on the role of PM other than having the ability to hide a few billion of his wife's fortune.

So we are about to get yet another unelected Tory Prime Minister, what's that four now? There should be a General Election but the Tories are running scared of Sir Kier and Labour. They only care about themselves and not what's best for the country. The Tory circus thats full of clowns carries on.

Thankfully Truss is on her way out. She was never up to the job, but I underestimated show badly she would fare.

I'm not even going to try and guess who the next one will be. But whoever it is, they will be choosing their cabinet from the same empty talent pool, so I doubt that there will be much change to the general awfulness.

As we'll be on our third PM in about three months, I think what is really required is a general election. If nothing else it would rid Parliament of at least some of these clowns.

I know that we have a couple of Conservative party members on the forum. If you get an opportunity to vote,, I send out a plea - please, please, please do not saddle the country with yet another incumbent who is not fit for purpose.

I think Hunt was in favour of keeping the triple it ... but guess we ill find out in 11 days.
If that goes through and an inflationary rise for the feckless, bone idle, and unemployable goes through then we can expect many more strikes.

I doubt very much there will be a General Election because the Tories are surely not that stupid. Instead they need a steady hand on the tiller to calm everything down, take control and instil some confidence. It won't please the left wingers who will bleat whatever the government do but it will give the Tories a fighting chance for a 2024 election, which is what I think they will take.
