You may be languishing in hotel NHS, but on here it's time up and you are discharged.
Don't worry, be happy

Yes Stephen, I like to tease my plants...
When I water them I use ice cubes.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I was going to vacate the premises today but doesn’t look like that’s going to happen as I’m still waiting for a CT scan first and the results will determine if I go or not.

I hope things go well for you Stephen, a week in hospital starts to get boring, especially if you feel in yourself that home is the place to be.
I trust the noisy Bugger who snores at 200 dcb has been discharged.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
It’s nine days now.
Allot has happened since then Ray. I was moved to a side room on a different ward then moved again just round the corner on the same ward to a bay of four patients. I could have gone home today if the CT scan dept got they’re finger out. That’s all that’s holding things up.
I’ve got an old boy in the bay next to me who groans all night long. He sleeps 24hrs a day. Poor old bu99er.

Bloody hell mate. I was only in for 9 days after major heart and aorta surgery. You need to bribe the ward Sister with some Keefie chocs. Or threaten her with them.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
On top of that my left leg, hip and mainly knee are killing me from when I slipped on the last couple of stairs about six weeks ago. Probably not helped with laying and sitting around all this time. It’s one thing after another.
Never mind, keep smiling. At least I’m still alive, it could have turned out allot worse if the Sepsis hadn’t been caught in time.

Nasty. Thank goodness they spotted it. Are you home yet? Does Mrs S know she must burn all your underpants as a precaution?

Very quiet at home which takes a bit of getting use to after the mayhem in hospital.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Sepsis isn’t so much painful just life and limb threatening if not caught in time. Thank goodness my GP decided to send me to A&E when he did.
