No offence was intended but apologies if anyone was. For the record i am not homophobic .But Richie was never ever going to win. Unlike John last year who had real dance talent.

I’m not homophobic either as I do believe two people of the opposite sex can form a loving sexual relationship, however, I’m getting a bit pissed off with all the Gay, lesbian, transgender programs that are flooding our tv these days. Its rare theses day to turn the tv on to a straight presenter.

Re: Strictly 2022
Firstly, I liked Motsi’s Armadillo better than last week’s teacakes.
A mixed bag this week, so good, some not so good.
The good…
Kym, I was surprised by the judges’ comments...I loved her dance.
Helen, gets a Blue Peter badge from me.
Hamza, the money’s in my pocket.
Will, the cough medicine worked
Fleur, but why can’t I take to her?
Ellis S, made a small splash
The not so good
Jayde, frumpy lumpy throughout.
James, tries hard but lacks momentum
Molly, I liked her outfit so it’s a
from me
Tony, a load of dribble but who knows
Ellie T, will need your votes
Tyler, was better than those above but only just.
So, for the thousands who are waiting on my every word…
It’s hello Ellie T and goodbye Tony

Tony should be gone but the public vote will probably save him. Leaving Kym and James at risk.

I agree with you about James but surly not Kym…that being said I did read somewhere that Kym and Fleur were the least popular contestants….so you could be right…I will, however, stand your bet should you like a little flutter on being right.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 22 Oct 2022, 22:29Tony should be gone but the public vote will probably save him. Tony and Jayde need to go sometime soon. Are there any BOGOF deals going?

Re: Strictly 2022
I agree about both. The judges had it mostly right about Jayde in their remarks last night. Generally their comments were along the lines of "entertaining performance but rubbish dance". But then they gave her ridiculously high marks.
They are supposed to be dance experts marking the dance. It's up to he public to dole out the sympathy and popularity votes. Which she would never get from me. She might be a lovely person but elegant and graceful she ain't!. In the old days she'd have been the one poor Anton was dragging round like a sack of potatoes.

Re: Strictly 2022
Apart from throwing Karen around like a sack of spuds she didn't actually do a great deal of dancing. Getting rid of her and Tony and a couple of others and it starts getting serious.

Re: Strictly 2022
I thought it was poor this week with no one particularly standing out.
As for the judges and their scoring, god knows what’s going through they’re brains. They find faults then give them 8 an 9’s
It’s getting boring now and I’m fast losing interest.

Mobietta is getting bored with it too, she reckons she will start watching it again when Blackpool becomes the venue.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I’m wondering how many people are actually voting by phone theses days and whether there is some outside influence making the decisions?

BBC voting has always been a "black art" with nobody actually knowing how it works!Onelife wrote: 23 Oct 2022, 11:09I’m wondering how many people are actually voting by phone theses days and whether there is some outside influence making the decisions?

I didn’t expect to see Molly in the bottom two but the judges made the the right decision to sending Jayde home. Jayde did well, and for a larger size lady she was very nimble on her feet. Well done that girl.
I loved their facial expressions when getting through…Kym and fleur nearly wet themselves.
I bet you can’t wait for next weeks predictions?

With a bit of luck he'll be going out next week - another week of silly costumes and outrageous makeup.

I think it’s the silly costumes that are keeping him in… the program producers need to be careful if good dancers are getting voted out in what is supposed to be a dancing competition… viewing figures are going to start taking a knock if it happens next week.oldbluefox wrote: 23 Oct 2022, 19:56With a bit of luck he'll be going out next week - another week of silly costumes and outrageous makeup.

I won't be surprised if the costumes hinder the dancing again next week. I know it's an entertainment programme but it's supposed to be a dancing competition and I expect next Saturday the costumes will dictate how well the contestants can dance.

It's starting to get more like a circus act than proper dancing in appropriate clothing.
