The things pets do
We have 3 dogs: an irish terrier, a Schnau-Tzu and a miniature yorkshire terrier.
The good lady was out yesterday so it was just me and the dogs. In the middle of a meeting I heard talking and thought the good lady was back .. but at the end of the meeting I realised it was a tv or radio. On investigating I found the dogs had somehow managed to turn the TV on and were all sitting watching judge judy.
I turned it off and placed the remote on a shelf.
A couple of hours later I heard talking again ... surely not! They had managed to get the remote off the shelf, 1turn the TV back on and this time they were all sitting up side-by-side watching Adele (on MTV).

Our collie likes nothing better than to sit on your lap, she then takes your hand, selects a finger, then gently nibbles it until she drops off to sleep.

Our cat Monty is often caught watching the TV, if he can stay awake long enough.

Sounds like me.Stephen wrote: 06 Nov 2022, 08:14Our cat Monty is often caught watching the TV, if he can stay awake long enough.
Our old cat used to be fascinated by the sound and countdown clock on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire when they phoned a friend. Used to rush to sit in front of the set.

I used to sit on the floor and skim a playing card from about 10ft towards the full length curtains in our lounge, one's cat would watch and then run up the curtains to catch the card in his mouth
We were, I believe, the only people in the neighborhood with perforated curtains
