Back in the sixties we had Mackintosh' chocolate factory in our fine City and the caramel chocolate bar Caramac was put on the market, but prior to it's release free tasting bars were given away to try. Chocolate as I remember was not as smooth as it is today but our first taste of the Caramac bar was, wow, this is so smooth and a new taste was lovely. Now made by Nestlé I see it's still available, stood the test of time.
Hi Ray, Caramac has a taste all of its own and is one of my favourites…just wish the squares were a bit thicker. Would you like some for Christmas? ;) :)

Can't stand coconut so don't like Bounty Bars. Prefer Quality Street to Celebrations. Definitely don't like marzipan on cakes or in sweets. When I was growing up my aunt worked for the Mars factory in Slough. When we visited her she used to give me and my brother a bag each of mis-shapes, mars bars, bounty bars and milky way bars, often there were just parts of a bar, but sometimes whole mars bars etc. As you can imagine my brother and I were very keen to visit my aunt.

Hi Ray, I was very much hands on at the start but as Onelife Choccies have become ever more popular I’m taking more of a back seat role just reading all of the thankyou messages I receive.

I feel OL is being much maligned about his chocolates and I feel somebody should stick up for him. My dog loved them! That is until he died.

NB no dogs were harmed in this post. I know you don't feed dogs chocolates, especially OLs.

Yes you would have expected that Brendan's improvements to Leicesters results would have mellowed the old fox just a bit.😇

In acknowledgement of the upset I have caused OL I am sending him 2 boxes of artisan chocolates by way of reparation. It's the least I could do.
