Leslie Phillips, from the carry on films to the navy lark and hundreds of other parts in his life in acting. Rip.

Sad news, but I confess I thought he was long gone! As they sat, a good innings. If someone offered me 98 years I'd say "deal".

Fond memories of listening to Family Favourites on Sunday lunchtime followed by The Navy Lark. Occasionally hear snippets of it today and it still makes me laugh.
