I really cannot be bothered with wasting three hours of the life I have left with this nonsense.

From the reports that have come out it is just a longer, watered down version of the previous interview.

No doubt in a couple of years time we will have "Megan & Harry - the Movie" and then a couple of years on from that "M&H - Live"

Our friends who we had dinner with last night are big Harry and Meghan fans.
I managed to kill that conversation with one statement.
I said, it’s genius marketing when a multi millionaire privileged couple can have such a good PR team to convince ordinary working people to feel sorry for them.
Conversation moved on.

I’m surprised your friends didn’t come back with…”at least we can form an opinion other than what the Media and tabloids want us to believe”

I hope you do get the chance to watch the three instalments Barney then I think with an open mind you will see that there is much truth in what they say.

Hi David, the reports that have come out will more than likely come from the same sources that have vilified this couple in pursuit of a good headline.

Build them up, knock them down...its journalism doing what it does best.

Before taking this Netflix propaganda as gospel think how it came about. It is an H&M production, not impartial journalism. It was never going to tell anything other than one side of the story. And even to do that it's used footage from events before they met, footage from events they weren't at and supposedly intrusive ootage at events where they personally approved the camera positions.

Accepting any of this as face value is the same as thinking Putin is the innocent party in Ukraine because Russian state TV says so.

Since they decamped the only interviews they've given have been to compliant fawning lapdog journalists. Set Emily Maitlis on them and see how that works out

I think the way this all came about happened a long time before they decided to tell their side of the story…as for impartial journalism your industry should be bowing its head in shame for the way it has conducted itself…. remember what happened to Diana?

If we are not careful we will all become pawns to an industry that want to control every aspect of our thinking.

Diana courted the media when she wanted but then complained when it became too much for her.

I thought H&M wanted a private life away from the prying eyes of the Press. They have done nothing else since they moved to Montecito but use the media to promote themselves. Press intrusion and scrutiny is the price they must pay. You cannot have it both ways.

The media weren't responsible for Diana's death. If H&M want to avoid the same fate their best bet is to avoid getting into cars driven by drunks.

Oh, they are totally convinced that the young couple are victims, despite comments on the previous interview being easily disproven.
Already in this most recent personal propaganda programme, the point that their engagement interview was rehearsed and stage managed has been refuted by the very esteemed and respected Mishal Hussain, who conducted it.
If you choose to believe them, then fine by me.

I personally couldn’t give a toss wether it’s H&M, M&H.
I just think they’re a couple of Devious, Conniving W⚓️‘s.

And while facts may be erroneous,as anyone spoken to his Dad to see what he makes of it,or does the galloping major want to keep out of it.?

Why me MOB? But as you ask…I think Harry is a thoroughly decent chap and that Harry and Meghan are very much in love. Meghan seems to be the dominant force in the partnership and is used to living a free and full life in the USA. Meghan claims that being of mixed-race was not significant in America whilst it has been highlighted during her time in the UK. This I doubt. It seems to me that around the world Britons are seen as racist, exacerbated by the perceived racist attitudes associated with Brexit. On the whole I don’t think we are a racist nation. I do think many in the UK want to hold on to their traditional way of life and see mass immigration as a threat to that. The desire to reduce immigration stems from the fear of losing this way of life rather than from a hatred, dislike or disrespect of people of a different colour, race or religion. The easy acceptance of our current PM demonstrates this while newscasters in USA were predicting a “backlash” following his election which just did not happen. I think Meghan expected racism and may or may not have found it in the Royal household. Personally, I don’t think there is anything wrong with wondering how dark the skin of a mixed-race child will be anymore than wondering what the colour of a child’s hair might be. The issue surely is the context in which the question was asked. The Paparazzi are diabolical. It is no surprise that Harry remains traumatised by the tragic circumstances of his mother’s death. There should be strict laws and sentences to deal with such invasions of privacy. No one should have to wonder if their house is bugged, their phone tapped or whether there is a telephoto lens pointed at their window. Huge fines should be imposed on any media outlet using such material.
So, what do I think…. I think Harry is a lost soul somewhat dominated by his divisive and opinionated wife. I can’t stand the sight of Charles after the way he used and abused Diana but I do think he might bring much needed reform to the out of touch and outdated Royal Institution. And as for divine rule and being the head of the church…don’t even get me started on that one.

Best wishes
Av

Your opinion Foxy, my take on it is that she was used by her husband, used by the Monarchy and used by the media.

Hi Mob, I’ve just placed my laptop in front of my wife in order that she can read your response, unfurtunatly I’ve had to do this as we haven’t spoken to each other since she posted that crap about Meghan being ‘divisive’ (having given her a good talking too she now admits that the use of that word was very harsh)

Oh’ and thanks for ruining our Christmas.

An alternative view would be that she used her husband, the Monarchy and the media to try to boost her celebrity status and was disappointed to find that is those circles she is not the lead star.

It is an alternative view Sir Merv but one that I believe even you would be unable to justify, especially considering how she was duped into believing she was entering the Royal family for love…what followed after this was her way of creating a new life for herself and I hope, a little retribution for the pain that was so calculatingly executed by those who knew what her purpose was to be within the hereditary line.

I think the issue is she has NO purpose in the hereditary line. She was never going to be a Princess or Queen and her children would never ascend the throne.
