Re: Current Affairs
Well it seems the series is going down like a lead balloon with critics in the US. I can't see Netflix being a future income source.

Re: Current Affairs
Really the only way they will be able to finance the lifestyle they desire, is to continue stirring the pot of enmity between them and the firm, and they will need to ensure it's more scandal worthy than this series if Netflix are to pay them for it.

Not seen it, but reports make it sounds like it is not the block buster everyone was waiting for. Very little for the vermin reporters to fuel their dross stories with, but knowing them they will twist it and turn it and make it sounds far better to fill a few inches with what they think H&M really meant to say.

Are Harry and Meghan the only thing that's going on in the world?

Yeah, I had that as well ??
We are off to the Canaries in early January but we’ve both decided to wear a mask on the flight.
It’s only for a week cruise so hopefully won’t succumb.
We are vaccinated up to the eyeballs so should be fine.

It’s easy pickings for the media.
Unfortunately for Prince Harry, it has made him come across as pretty thick.
I don’t know if he is thick or not but it isn’t a good look.
Basically, a very privileged couple on a whinge fest.
Millions are genuinely struggling to make ends meet and we have the unedifying spectacle of privileged millionaires complaining about their lot.

I’ve had to dispatch Molly this afternoon which leaves Betty home alone….As chickens don’t like being on there own I’ve got a replacement coming Monday…I think we might call her Meg.

Our City has been gridlocked today with Christmas shoppers and those coming to the City for the football at 17.30. They sit in their cars inching slowly forward for ages just to park as close to the center as possible. The trouble caused by blocking junctions to allow taffic to flow, frightened to leave a gap that in doing so some other selfish driver, simular to themselves, may take the opportunity to nip in the space.

I guess you're feeling how I did when the world was going to hell in a handcart and all we could talk about was parties and cakes and MPs fondling each others bums while drunk.Gill W wrote: 17 Dec 2022, 14:45Are Harry and Meghan the only thing that's going on in the world?

But I guess most of us, apart from M&H"s personal PR rep OL would agree with you. I'm sure most of us would be delighted if they retired quietly to protect their privacy and enjoy family life, but maybe that was never the actual plan.
What baffles me most in their latest 'revelations' is the claim that what they really wanted was a half in/half out deal which was denied them. The Royal Family was racist, threw Meghan under a bus with the media, that led her to consider suicide and made Harry fear for his families' lives. But they still wanted to be part of that life in any way at all? No, I don't get it.

Thanks Ray…. she had developed a growth which she had started pecking so decided to do the right thing before she went downhill.

I have a spare packet of Paxo if you can use it. I'll swap it for some chocs. But yes, RIP Molly. Maybe it's an omen that her namesake will win Strictly as a tribute.

I bet you can’t wait for the next PR “happy royal families photo’s” that should soon be hitting the tabloidsMervyn and Trish wrote: 17 Dec 2022, 17:30I guess you're feeling how I did when the world was going to hell in a handcart and all we could talk about was parties and cakes and MPs fondling each others bums while drunk.Gill W wrote: 17 Dec 2022, 14:45Are Harry and Meghan the only thing that's going on in the world?

And noone would be happier than me if those happy photos had included H&M and their kids. But I wouldn't wish to intrude on their privacy.

Be careful out there. They said on the weather forecast most of the country can expect icy condition tomorrow as the cold air hits the hot air. Well I think that's what they said

Yes we watched that too. Bit murky!
Looking forward to seeing her in the flesh, as it were, when she calls here on 27th.
