Putting it in the context of what she did to Diana, I think it very apt…besides, she isn’t a Queen she is just Charlie’s wife.barney wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 16:53Am I the only one who finds the description of our Queen as ---- extremely disrespectful?![]()

It's a case of 'He said....she said' and we will never know what really went on between Charles and Diana. I don't believe either was innocent but equally I think it's wrong to lay all the blame at Camilla's door.

Not so - at the request of the late Queen she is the Queen Consort.
No you are not and I hearby give OL notice that this is not acceptable on a public forum. We all know you views which you are entitled to but I for one do not accept them.barney wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 16:53Am I the only one who finds the description of our Queen as ---- extremely disrespectful?![]()

Which is a credit to you David but in this instance, you have chosen to highlight my name above all those who have made equally if not worse derogatory comments during this topic of conversation. Why?
Perhaps if you had issued the same to those who have used words such as …Ok’ best leave it there, but you get my point surely?

Constitutionally she is every bit a queen as any of the previous wives of a reigning monarch, and I would expect that the next Cunard new build will named Queen Camilla.

Please provide evidence that anything said about them on this forum is even close to being as derogatory as your comment about Camilla.Onelife wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 18:27The things that have been said about Meghan, Harry and Diana on this forum ‘Slack knicker’ falls into Insignificance Imhooldbluefox wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 17:24Not very nice is it barney? Why you ask? Because you are the only one continually making derogatory statements about a member of the Royal family - unless you can show me otherwise nobody else has/is continually been making derogatory comments, yes there have been criticisms but that is not the same.Onelife wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 22:23you have chosen to highlight my name above all those who have made equally if not worse derogatory comments during this topic of conversation. In these days of equality it should surely be called King Charles. Utter discrimination that current Cunarders all have women's names. My life is ruined. Pass me a compo form.towny44 wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 22:50Constitutionally she is every bit a queen as any of the previous wives of a reigning monarch, and I would expect that the next Cunard new build will named Queen Camilla.

Hi John, in the context of the topic of conversation I only had to go back one page to find this derogatory comment, a comment which I find to be totally inappropriate both in its insinuation and intention.towny44 wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 22:52Please provide evidence that anything said about them on this forum is even close to being as derogatory as your comment about Camilla.Onelife wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 18:27The things that have been said about Meghan, Harry and Diana on this forum ‘Slack knicker’ falls into Insignificance Imhooldbluefox wrote: 27 Dec 2022, 17:24Not very nice is it barney? "At least he only broke his wedding vows with one partner whereas Diana went through the field, to quote a race horsing term".
Diana had as reported 5/6 relationships during and after her marriage which is about average during a women’s lifetime, so I would hardly call that going through the field irrespective of how cruelly you phrase it.
Your description makes her out to be some kind of tart which she clearly wasn’t.

I would argue "in the context of this topic of conversation" some of the comments go way beyond that of mere criticisms when referring to other members of the royal family e.g., Harry, lovely Meghan and sadly departed Diana.david63 wrote: 28 Dec 2022, 08:27Why you ask? Considering the present wave of red pen warnings what do you think the odds of Onelife ever making it to the rank of Captain are?

I know it's the season of good will David, but you are the big cheese and should again reduce OL to the ranks and for him to swab the decks.
