On a different but I'm sure equally controversial subject I see the census shows that a little under 3% of the population identify as LBGT etc. Nothing wrong with that.

But why do TV producers in casting, storylines, selection of contestants for quiz shows etc try yo give us the impression the figure is nearer 25-30%?

I really believe TV should fairly represent all sections of society, by gender, race, religion, sexuality, etc.

But I also believe heterosexuals are being deliberately and unfairly under represented.

My overall take from the revelations is that Harry is a deeply disturbed young man badly affected brother death of his mother at the hands of a drunken driver. None of what he says, even if every word is true, backs his wider claims about he and Meghan being victims of some sort of vendetta by the Royal Family. None of it disproves the claims she didn't understand the implications and duties of joining that family and was difficult and treated staff badly. Overall the book adds nothing to the sum of human knowledge. He also appears to have fired all his bullets and left nothing for volume 2.
That sentence alone goes to prove what an archaic institution you and others are supporting… imo
Not at all OL. There is nothing archaic about a life devoted to service and duty, other of course than in the minds of the selfish modern generation who devote their lives only to me me me.

Anyone joining the Royal Family need to understand it is very far from a life of privilege, princesses and unicorns. Anyone inviting someone to join has a duty to make sure they understand that.
I suppose it’s how you define privilege…a little bit of help if you struggle to come up with anything.

I think you are being a little unfair to our younger generations, with a third of them thinking the Monarchy is outdated, irrespective of their views on Harry and Meghan…Btw, I stopped delivery of the Majesty Magazine, I think your… me me me comment is a bit too flowery for my liking. :)

My view is that seeing men dressed up as woman plastered with makeup, eyelashes down to their chins and dressed up like hookers gives a very distorted view of woman, so, as you can tell, I would like to see it removed from our tv screen altogether.

I actually find it quite repulsive.

From where I stand it does look like Harry has not only set fire to the bridge, he has blown it up.
As for the Royal Family keeping quiet, it's the correct thing to do, the media crowd would be in seventh heaven should they release any kind of statement.
The rule is, do not complain, Do not explain.

Hi Ray, in most circumstances it would be bad news but as Mob worships the ground, I float over, I let it go straight over my halo

From the last census in Norfolk, 24300 declared themselves as LGBT which is 2.66% of the local population. Some 57,661 people (6.29% of the county) declined to answer the sexuality question and 44,285 people (4.83%) were silent on the gender identity question.
Every one to their own, no problem with that.

Quite agree. It's the TV representation that annoys me.

Absolutely right. As a long term member of the clan Harry knows that. Which makes his current behaviour like punching a man who has his hands tied behind his back. Very honourable.

Any member of the clan knows that to stay strong you have to stick together…Harry did so until the clan and their puppet’s thought Mehgan was steeling the limelight…one has to know one’s place of course and she being an independent, highly intellectual speaker and advocate for women’s rights was never going to fall in line with what the firm expected of her, nor should she have. Such an inspiring young lady could have been the making of a new era in an outward thinking Monarchy, alas the briefings and the tabloids put pay to that and with it the chance to rejuvenate an institution that is well past its sell by date.

Question to the forum’s Royal correspondents…. what do you think Harry meant when he said “they lied to protect William but not me”? I’ve got a good idea what he was referring to but I would be interested to hear your take on it.

You can of course decline with ‘no comment’ which is the norm in Royal circles. :)

I see Harry's long awaited blockbuster is currently lagging behind Miriam Margolyes' autobiography and a couple of cook books in the Amazon best sellers charts.
Already he has upset plenty of people and the book is not yet on sale in the UK. Look out for him getting an award for Damp Squib of the Year.

I'm with Towny. I really don't give credence to anything they say after so much has been proved to be lies. He knew he was the spare. He should have warned her that as wife of the spare she'd be supporting cast. She would have been brilliant as that. But she thought she'd be the star.

Hi Foxy, I know how much you dislike Harry but buying up all his books just to start your fire is an expensive way of showing it

Prince Harry's controversial tell-all memoir Spare is already no.2 on Amazon's best-seller list in America and the UK in pre-sales alone.

You do realise you only have to sell 5,000 to 10,000 books to make the best seller list?.

Not sure who buys books, especially new hard backs , the last book I bought was well over 15 years ago, I think it was a Lee Childs Jack Reacher paper back in W H Smith's at Manchester airport, as we were about to fly to Honolulu to pick up a Tahitian Princess cruise.

The only books I buy which are very few are by Jeremy Clarkson, especially his farming books that are hilarious. And whatever book I buy it is always a hard back, or as I call them , proper books.

I see Harry is being severely slated in the Mail this morning by an X security chief for his alleged remarks about killing the Taliban. And rightly so, the silly man.

He's not doing himself any favours.

Watch yer back Harry, your going to need to.
