Maybe not like Betty but I like the current one. The southerner character was decidedly dodgy. Stick to those from the north

Yes I'd agree Lindsay is an improvement on the weasel.

I see that Sunak was in Northern Ireland, pushing his 'Windsor Framework'.

He was extolling the wonderful, unique advantage that Northern Ireland will have - access to both the UK market and the European single market. You can't make this stuff up, the whole of the UK used to have this advantage, but lost it, because we decided to Brexit !

Apart from that, hopefully this is the start of a more adult and pragmatic relationship with the EU, rather than having to endure the bellicose blusterings of the fantasy ideologues

I welcome the fact that we are now improving on the deals and treaties which were signed when we left the EU. At last the ill feeling between ourselves and the EU is softening and deals can now be struck which will benefit both parties. I look forward to other deals being struck to harmonise our relationship with our European neighbours without being tied to them.

We're out, get over it.

I just hope that the DUP stop acting like spoilt children and get on with doing the job that they are being paid to do.

Sounds like they are all putting their penn'orth in. You can't always have everything you want. Sometimes you have to work your way towards it.

Police say the body of a Baby has been found near to where that couple were arrested.
I’m not pre judging but in all my time in the service I came across some horrible individuals who did harm to infants, it turned my stomach. I cannot understand the mentality of some people.

Whoever the poor little mite is, May you rest in peace.😢😢

Disagree - stringing them up is the easy option as they will have a far more unpleasant time being banged up in solitary for the next 20+ years.

I can’t understand why,if they didn’t want the child, take it to a hospital and ask them to care for it.!
Why/what were they running away from.?
Either way,the poor little thing never had much of a chance after birth.😪

Not going into the politics of the message release, but when you put your trust into someone and they go behind your back and run to the press, I have only one name for them. RATBAG.

I see where you are coming from Ray and I wouldn’t want her standing behind me in the trenches, nevertheless, sooner or later theses things always seem to find a way to the papers and in doing so she would have been implicated for withholding what could be crucial evidence in the covid inquiry.

As I understand it the Covid inquiry already had the messages from the proper legal source.

Hi Sir Merv…just for clarification are you saying the Covid inquiry had access to theses text messages prior to Oakeshott making them public?
