Thanks guys .. although I see I updated my birthday incorrectly ... doh!! I have been dropping in to read Stephens Friday thread.

Story so far!
In the run up to Christmas I had promised a couple of local charities to help out ... I was thinking about 3-4 hours each per week ... this turned out to be a much bigger time zapper than I expected ... but I keep my promises.

At the same time I had also come up with a side hustle that also mushroomed on me ... what I thought would be a few small jobs, giving me a bit of pin money in the lead up to Christmas, turned into me getting a couple of significant contracts to do work. I have just about managed to clear that backlog up ... this weekend will actually be the first non-working weekend I have had since before Christmas. On the plus side, my hope for a few quid on the side grew into something that will more than cover our holiday plans for this year (1 land based holiday, 2 cruises, and a long weekend).

So, after over-extending myself we are now heading off, next week, to Cape Verde for a well earned holiday.
