Never seen that before....you would think

Why is this news. It happens every year.

They then say on the news stupid things like 'wrap up warm'. Talk about the bleedin obvious.

I remember many years back that when I bought my first new car I took delivery of it in March of that year (cannot remember which year) and it was the only day that winter that it snowed!

My daughter who lives in Farnham, sent me a picture of my grandaughter in her garden this morning absolutely delighted with her snowy garden. I also saw a picture of one of her classmates who hasn't been in this country for very long, stood in front of the infant school with the church in the background, which was a lovely country site considering it's in the middle of the town and he said that it was the best day ever as he'd never seen snow before. So amidst all the traffic problems etc. there is still delight from children. As for me, near Southampton, wet and drizzling!

Bright blue skies up here, a cool breeze but the fells look absolutely magnificent with just a dusting of snow on the tops. Chocolate box photographers will be out in force.
It was a day like this we went up Skiddaw and the views from the top were amazing. However it was so cold that we only stayed for a short while. Going up we were down to T shirts. On top we wore hats, gloves, coats, scarves and anything else we had in rucksacks!!!

It was an easy mistake David as I noted that there were farm animals in the pictures…it was the fear on the sheep’s face that made me think Stephen could have taken them.

We've been lucky here so far no snow or rain. This week so far it's been sunny and dry but very cold although today I tidied the back garden as the garden waste bin gets emptied tomorrow.
