Something we do know… should the lovely couple put in an appearance it will at least break up the monotony of having to watch Charles and Camilla being towed along by all the King’s horses and all the king’s men… at an astronomical cost to the taxpayer.Ray B wrote: 07 Mar 2023, 14:23Are you attacking the King because you do not know if your pin up Megs is coming to the Coronation.?

And an astronomical income to the country from tourism.
Still we could save a few quid on a Premier Inn room and tell H&M not to bother coming.

The majority who waste their time going to this Royal pantomime will take a flask, sandwiches and a packet of crisps….a great boost to the economy….

Yes indeed, but please do not feel offended if I take this opportunity to correct your spelling.
Wine, that's some of the problems if you fail to proof read before posting.

Re: Candle in the Wind
Hi Ray, I have no objection at all to you highlighting what you thought was my misspelling of ‘wine’, however, my use of “Whine” was intended, as it was a follow on to how Stephen had jokingly implicated you into his Extradition quip e.g.
Stephen wrote…I’ve heard on the grapevine your extradition papers should be arriving any day now.
Onelife wrote….When has trying to bring our country out of the dark ages an extradition requirement?
Stephen wrote… Since Ray says it is.
Onelife wrote…It sounds like he’s into his ‘Whine’ -ing’
….
Which seemed an appropriate response if one is able to keep up with my sence of humour…difficult I know.

They might be getting an invite but that does not mean, if Meghan allows Harry to come, that they will be allowed into the country as some jobsworth at immigration might do his job and send them packingStephen wrote: 08 Mar 2023, 10:50Not sure why they got an invite to the coronation, the back stabbing sleaze balls.

It's not our job to make your tranmission of anti royalist views easier, nor to allow your fawning over the Sussexes to go unchallenged, but you are entitled to hold these views, just as those who disagree with you are entitled to challenge them.

Well said John, I shall keep ploughing my furrow as others must do theirs…btw… have you noticed how the main stream press never print anything about the gratitude and praise bestowed upon them from their charitable work and personal donations?towny44 wrote: 08 Mar 2023, 13:18It's not our job to make your tranmission of anti royalist views easier, nor to allow your fawning over the Sussexes to go unchallenged, but you are entitled to hold these views, just as those who disagree with you are entitled to challenge them.
