Woy is a nice guy but far too soft, the Palace players probably need somebody more evil to snap them out of their malaise if relegation is to be avoided.

Big fat Steve Evans could be the answer.
He’s proper old school effing and jeffing but does seem to get a response, short term. 😂

They need Rodgers around them. If they're not playing well their name goes in his little notebook.

I don't think Roy is the answer, will be a bit of a backward step for me. We will have to wait and see we go gets the job. Tomorrow Paddy McCarthy, who has been at the club for 15 years now, will be in charge. If he can get a response then maybe Mr Parish will keep him a bit longer.

Do you mean Don Rodgers? What a brilliant player he was.

We'd be better off with Roy Rodgers and Trigger.

A tale of two halves at Brentford today. First half they pressed us, attacked and won the second ball by taking control of midfield.
Brenda obviously took note because we did exactly the same in the second half.
Must say I admire what Frank has done there. They're an exciting team to watch.

Just watched Fulham throw away a match against Manu. They had frustrated Manu for long periods and were matching them . The game was theirs for the taking but a crazy couple of minutes of madness put paid to their ambitions.
Mitrovic deserved to go off for laying hands on the referee but there may be a case for asking why Fernandes got away scot free for pushing the linesman in the Liverpool match, not even a yellow or a caution.

That’s because the linesman manhandled Bruno first. Officials can’t manhandle players, any action against Bruno would have been overturned. Bruno didn’t touch him like Mitrovic did,he was trying to get back in a position and the linesman was in his way. Oh, I know all the bitter Abu’ will cry but that’s the way it is,if you don’t believe me,ask Dermot Gallagher.

I agree foxy,Fulham were the better side up until the point they threw it away in a moment of madness. Utd had DeGea to thank for keeping them in the match up to that point.

Gallagher "whilst I don't condone it I think the referee is in a difficult position. Fernandes is likely to say he grabbed hold of me first".

Unfortunately Bruno has a bit of a track record in victim playing. Great player but oh dear!!

It is unacceptable for any player to threaten an official and in doing so should expect a punishment.
Maybe it’s time for football to trial the way rugby is refereed with simular decisions adapted for football. It will certainly cut out arguing with the ref.

I think football could learn a lot from rugby starting with feigning injury any time an opponent comes anywhere near. A recent example was the Blackburn player going down clutching his face in the lead up to the Sheff United goal as though he had been poleaxed. When I see the rough and tumble of a rugby match and how they just get on with it I can't help thinking what a load of soft nellies our modern day footballers are.
I would certainly endorse an end to any official being touched or intimidated by a player or even arguing with the decision. And that includes my own team!!!

Whilst I agree with you foxy ,there would be ‘ no likely to say ‘ the official did grab hold of him.

None of this would have happened if the powers that be had scrapped the double jeopardy ruling, imo.

A penalty is more than enough for handling the ball, no need to brandish cards of any colour.

In total agreement with you Moby, personally I would prefer to see sending off banned, and punishments served in subsequent matches, but maybe with some financial penalty as well.

It's an interesting dilemma actually.
My team are hovering on the relegation merry go round. It is likely Willian and Mitrovic will get bans which will weaken Fulham's team for the next few matches, many of which will be played against other teams in relegation danger. Ironically Mitrovic could be back after his suspension (depending on how long it is) and be raring to go when they play us. Player bans have a knock on effect and actually benefit those teams whom they play during that period which can affect promotion and relegation issues for other teams.
That said what other sanctions could there be?

On the issue of sending off players, if they weren't sent off players would commit professional fouls, hand ball and other dodgy means to prevent a goal being scored. There is always the chance that the penalty is missed, or the goalkeeper saves so they then have got away with it. My feeling is they get an early bath but no suspension. Mitrovic is a different situation altogether.

Yes Roy comes home again, along with Ray Lewington and Paddy McCarthy appointed until the end of the season. Not my choice but I'll take it, Roy is special to us. He was to good for Watford.

A typical move by Parish who has always refused to disrupt another club by the taking their manager while he is still in employment.

Don't worry 'bout a thing
Every little thing gonna be alright.
