Willian will only get a one match ban.

I thought 3 matches only applied for violent conduct.

All very well and good for the team, but this action against officials is seen by youngsters who may think this is nothing to worry about. But when you have referees and officials being abused somewhere every weekend by players and parents what message is being sent down the line. The F. A. need to take control no matter how big a player is.
Don't worry, be happy

I dont believe that Willian abused or manhandled any of the officials.

Are we not talking about Mitrovic?
It seems to be seen as fair game to be aggressive towards anybody in authority even by parents watching schoolboy football. Some of these referees are only youths themselves but are open to the same abuse. Shameful.
Mitrovic should be facing a long ban and a hefty fine.

A tidy enough 2-0 for Gills last night and now ten points clear of the drop zone so I’d reckon that’s pretty much safe now.
Given we were seven adrift at the start of the new year, that’s very good form.
We’ve won six of the last seven at home.
Fortress Priestfield is back.
Harris has one eye on the summer now and good recruitment for a push on next season.
Hopefully we can pick up seasoned pros as opposed to previous seasons when having to sign young rejects from the higher leagues.

It's a good time to be a Gills fan. They've had a rough ride recently but they've stayed loyal. Now they are in for good times. All the very best to them.

I see the current Gillingham manager has been with them since 2022. He's clearly doing a good job.

I’d have been happy seeing the back of him pre Xmas as we were absolutely dire.
We had scored seven goals.
Yep, seven league goals.
However, since the takeover and dare I say, a huge intake of investment, we’ve looked a different side.
Money talks eh?

Better performance from England tonight. They look really up to the task and are the better team. Not that impressed by Grealish but the rest of the team are playing well.

How you can mention the apprentice in the same post as an England win over Italy in Naples is beyond reason.

It was a game of two halves 'Arry. England were as sloppy in the second half as they were precise in the first.
A great win nevertheless and a dogged performance when we went down to 10 men.

We're looking for somebody to sing the national anthem at our next match. How are you fixed?
The woman they had last night has been given the red card. I feel sure any of you could make a better job of it than she did. It was totally embarrassing.

We should drop the National Anthem as football and replace it with something more lively. I suggest Glad All Over. Sung like this

The National Anthem is as boring as the institution it represents, it is unrepresentative of a large proportion of the UK who do not believe in God or the Monarchy and it certainly isn’t representative of the multicultural society we now live in.

Pass me the mic…

Being a traditionalist, I would say those that don’t like our traditions and the way we do things are free to bu99er off somewhere else.

I don’t live in a multi cultural society.
I live in North Devon.
It’s about as far from a multi cultural society as you can get, which is why I moved here 😉
