It's all happening in Scotland this morning as Nicola Sturgeon's husband has been arrested in connection with irregularities in SNP funds.
Does he know Donald Trump?
The chances are that Nicola was oblivious to what her husband was up too so resigned
Or they were thick as thieves and she got scared and jumped ship.?

Paultheagle, very interesting Paul, I did assume that it may have only just been recognized as the cause, not being known about, as you have said, quite a few years ago.
So players today who continue to head the ball will have no comeback should they damage the brain.
Football is about getting the ball in the net, and would take a lot of self control by a player not to go for a good header.
Ray... There is an FA initiative/trial to try and ban children under the age of 12 from heading a football not sure how that will help. As you say the natural thing to do if you see an aerial ball coming at you is to head it.

Mrs Krankie may yet come to regret her holier than thou attitude with Bojo.

It makes a glass or two of wine and a nibble on a packet of cheese and onion crisps look a bit tame. Isn't it fortunate Mrs Krankie got out when she did?

Funnily enough, I was talking to Mrs B about the SNP money a couple of weeks ago and how amazing that no one seemed too interested in it.
My question was how did Sturgeon’s husband ‘loan’ over £100k to the party?
Where did the £100k come from given his salary is public knowledge.
Then the £600k that the party had chiselled off to finance the next referendum campaign ?
Where has that gone ?
Time will tell.

I suspect that Sturgeon knew that an arrest could happen, which probably influenced her decision to quit.

Compare and contrast with the ruling party in Westminster. If any of their spouses were in the same position, the current crop would hang on for grim death, and the idea of resignation wouldn't even cross their minds.

Of course Sturgeon knew. The investigation has been going on for a long time.

You seem to know a lot about what the ruling party in Westminster would do. Do you know that for fact or have you made it up? Who knows what they would do in the same situation?

Good news for the other parties and a bit of a setback for the independence campaign whilst the SNP sort themselves out. Must admit I'm not convinced by their new leader who comes across a bit of a Braveheart character which isn't helpful considering the problems they have up there.

Not the first and won't be the last person to get they're sticky fingers caught in the money pot. And if caught they deserve everything coming to them.

Well jumping ship like she did could be considered either as an honorable resignation, or the soft option to get out of the spotlight when the brown stuff hit the fan.
I know which I feel is the most likely

Its ironic that she has for so long been the figurehead of Scottish independence and yet she has been (I presume) the instrument of its downfall?

Funny that some people wouldn't be bothered about a serial killer if they weren't a Tory. It seems the alleged criminal activities of other parties don't matter.

It all looked rather incestuous, all tied up by the Sturgeon family. How did they allow that to happen?

I thought the late Queen’s wishes were that Camilla should be known as Queen Consort? Begs the question why Charles thinks his wife deserves her title?

How uncomfortable are you feeling about his decision?

Very comfortable with the decision, Charles and her look very happy and she has worked hard to gain the publics affection, plus she has kept quiet and had little to say to the press keeping her trap shut, so all they can do now is stories from the past and raking any thing they can find.
Don't worry, be happy

I’m in.
It’s quite normal for a King’s wife to be known as Queen.
Anyone with a basic education would know that.
