Same here, only we’ve had to go for the home delivery option. Couldn’t afford the parking charges.

It is somewhat true, after the caravaners leave the hoiday layby/field, they always leave big gas bottles, They obviously do not buy them, I wonder where they come from...... .

Well we had a fabulous weekend at Warner Alvaston Hall Hotel, just 25 miles from home. It was booked to coincide with our anniversary rather than specifically for the entertainment. The main Saturday night act turned out be be Tom-tastic, a Tom Jones tribute who's been doing that since 1977. Almost as long as the man himself! He was brilliant. He looked like Tom, walked like him, talked like him and sung like him. It someone had said he was Tom Jones you probably wouldn't have argued. Sunday night the in house team did a Queen show, which was also excellent. The food was good, the room very nice with a great view. The staff were great. It's so handy for a long weekend break we'll deffo go again.

I really enjoy Warner's. I'm going to the Isle of Wight in July for a couple of weeks. As a single Warner's want my money as opposed to cruise lines where the single supplements are a complete joke.

Is it at Woodside Bay, if so we went there in 1970 ... do hope they've done it up a bit ;)

We’ve done Holme Lacey three or four times
Cricket St. Thomas Once
Bodelwyddan Castle once

As you’ve gathered we prefer the historic hotels.

A shame they’re cr***y web site doesn’t work. Just been trying to look at rooms for a particular hotel and the page won’t load. So boll*cks to them, that’s my attention span and potential custom lost.
