We've passed the church where he's buried. Residents seem reasonably sane so far.

It's a wonderful place. I once had a weeks holiday there, stayed in St. Mary's and got the little boat to the main Off Islands. The weather was perfect. Happy memories.

I am in Fakenham and knowing how to show my darling wife a good time, told her, after a stop at Spoons for a soft drink, that I will show her a bit of culture.
So I took her to the old gas works. Telling her it was the last complete surviving works in the country still did not impress her. Woman, you just cannot please them.

Now having a tea at the garden center, it's a very good one in Fakenham. BUT, how vindictive they can be, just been hit for £50 as it emerged we needed more plants in the garden.
The agony goes on, dinner at Sculthorpe Mill this evening by the river.
Oh well, can't take it with you. That's if there's any left.

That’s what happens when you release them from the kitchen chains. They get all silly and start enjoying themselves at your expense.
To try and recoup some funds ask for the child small portion menu tonight. I’m sure she will understand

We ordered it March or April. And it was a factory order not something that's been sitting in a pound for months on end. But I guess that's Bently for you

Good on you Stephen, it's something when you take delivery of a new car untouched by another owner. So, what is it?

ALL NEW NISSAN QASHQAI TEKNA DIG-T MHEV AUTO - with optional Bose sound system added. Colour Gun Metal.
Common as muck I know, but for the price I paid and what you get for your money it'll do.

Looks a nice car Stephen. I take it you don't have to plug it in, or do you..
I know you have said some disparaging remarks about Ford, but my car is a Ford Focus Titanium 2ltr estate. A comfortable ride and knockes you back in seat if you put your foot down, ie, overtaking. Loads of luggage space and find nothing wrong with Ford.
I forgive you for not liking Ford. Enjoy your new car.

No plugs involved apart from several usb points.
I’ve owned a couple Fords in the past Ray. A Mark 2 Cortina and a Fiesta. Both rust buckets. The new Puma looks nice though.

Blimey Ray. Great minds think alike. I have one of those too. Mine has an X after the Titanium though I'm not sure what that got me. As you say, nice motor.Ray B wrote: 24 Jun 2023, 13:00Looks a nice car Stephen. I take it you don't have to plug it in, or do you..

Had mine a few years and does have adjustable temp for front seats but yours must be newer model and has heated front seats and steering wheel, keyless entry and start, as well as a high-quality Bang & Olufsen stereo with surround sound.
As you say, great minds.

Mine is about 8 years old. Yes keyless start, but have to press the buttons to unlock and no heated steering wheel. It can park itself in spaces so small I wouldn't even consider them.

Certainly been a scorching day, I'm sitting in the evening sun doing my bit to recycle empty beer bottles. Bin day tomorrow and the noise of bottles falling into the cart is a happy sound.
