Re: Last One to Post Wins
I had 2 Capris back in the day, I doubt I would enjoy the low ride now, but for a 30+ boy racer it was a great car.

I had a Mark 1 Escort 1300 Estate. A bit like a Capri but with a shorter bonnet and higher suspension. And not so fast....

So not like a Capri at all!!!! Never had an escort or Focus, but I did have a couple of Orion Ghias, that was a nice drive.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 03 Jul 2023, 12:38I had a Mark 1 Escort 1300 Estate. A bit like a Capri but with a shorter bonnet and higher suspension. And not so fast....

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I did drive quite a few Escorts from the works hire car pool, and the Orion drove totally differently to them, and of course it was a lot more luxurious than the bog standard escort.

I had an XR3i Cabriolet. That was fun. You're right about the Ghia luxury. I had a Cortina 2l Ghia and later a Sierra Sapphire Ghia.

The Granada Ghia was a nice drive too. Never owned one but use to service the company directors one back in the day.

It was my polyps that are now removed! But I'd expected inflation increases in the elements for other ailments and age but no!
And the mention on Saturday.....
