Without going into the details as to whether the verdict was right or wrong Kevin Spacey has been found not guilty of nine sex offences but his four accusers are now legally entitled to lifelong anonymity.

If accusers are entitled to anonymity then the accused should also be entitled to anonymity until proven guilty or if the accused is named then so should the accusers.

One person's life/reputation is ruined but apparently liars can walk free with no redress.

No it isn't right ... no names revealed either side else all names should be in the open. It is more practical to opt for the latter of course.

That's how it used to be, correctly in my mind. It was changed to encourage gold diggers witnesses to come forward.

The question of ”Innocent until proven guilty” is Imo where the system fails to see justice done in many cases. It’s a strange judicial process when 9 jurors can find a person guilty, yet two who chose for whatever reason can allow the guilty to walk free.

I dont think he has been shown to have a nice personality, but if his "partners" did not like his manners they were free to walk away, but I wonder if it was his money that kept them close.

Trouble is, when accused and then found innocent, some times the sh@t sticks and could hinder your professional future.
