So NASA were able to send a message to Voyager 2, after originally giving it a wrong command, to reposition itself so it's antenna is facing back to earth. Voyager 2 is now just over 12 billion miles from earth.
Back on the coast of the flat lands of Norfolk, my mobile phone some times has trouble getting a phone signal.
Don't worry, be happy

There's talk that the person who gave the wrong command is being sent up on Voyager 3 ;) :)

Difficult Sir Merv...I’ve narrowed it down to one of three who sent Birthday greeting with the words "miserable git" in their message :o ;)

Unfortunately Foxy…his compo forms are as reliable as the geezer who used to send chocolates  :)

Happy belated birthday Keith

It didn’t flag up on the forum at the bottom of the home page so I wouldn’t have known. You need to add your birth date in your account profile details for it to show.

I assume we will get to see images of your all singing all dancing new zimmer frame :D

Which is understandable considering I didn’t understand your question so had to take a guess as to what you were implying…wrongly as it now appears. :)

Funny how things pan out though, I woke this morning expecting to see thirty or forty belated Birthday greetings only to find three…. this has left me emotionally devastated… the thought that my vibrant personality, giving nature and non-confrontational postings have been to no avail is very disappointing.

Hi Stephen, I decided against including my Birth date as I didn’t want to get bombarded with out-of-date chocolates, flowers etc…but I truly thank those of you who have sent me belated Birthday wishes :D …those who haven’t should be ashamed of yourselves.

Hi Jan, hope you are enjoying your cruise  Thank you for taking the time to send me a Birthday greeting, btw, you are still my favourite poster. :D

I had a lovely day, with loads of pressies…My best mate and his lovely wife came over and we enjoyed a lovely meal out at The Jaipur Indian Restaurant (Church Stretton) I get a free papadam every time I give then a mention.

With regard to presents…I received Chanel (bleu) aftershave, new pair of shoes, £95 in total of Garden vouchers, a lovely yellow polo shirt, London Theatre trip, bottle of port, garden knee pads, a ride on mower which my wife bought for me back in March and of course a box of in-date box of chocolates. :D

So

BBC News - Virgin Atlantic pilots consider strike over fatigue
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66421175

VA pilots are fatigued, apparently flying 15 hours a week. Now I know they also have some preflight time before they take off. But I also know that once in the air they have an auto pilot to do most of the actual flying. Yes they have to stay alert, or at least one of the two sharing the flying has to. And of course it is a responsible job. But it still seems that fatigued is stretching it a bit. Maybe they should step down to do an easier job for 40 plus hours a week on minimum wage.

Sorry I was so cryptic OL and happy birthday again. I was merely meaning did you receive a "Spare" card from your favourite retired Royals. I presume you did, in return for your unwavering support.

Happy birthday Keithy baby 🎉🎂.
As I fall into the category of belated happy birthday and should be ashamed of myself, please supply proof of your birthday signed by two upstanding people who can testify the fact.
Meanwhile I will hang on to your pressie.
Don't worry, be happy

Maybe his Mum and Dad could vouch for him?
