Early days.

The black woman passenger in it is annoying me though with her constant giggling.

My thoughts exactly.

There was certainly some "staged" parts of it - how often have you been personally greeted by a senior office as soon as you board? Since when can you drive up to the ship without anyone else around?

Not much substance yet - I have a feeling that it will be more about what happens off the ship than on.

The ship being featured is Royal Princess which is a sister of Britannia.

A sister ship on the outside and on the passenger decks, but totally different on the public decks.

But only cosmetically. Both ships have the main features (theatre, lounges, spa, select dining venues) in the same place.

I actually prefer the Princess layout as it seems to flow better.

I thought the same David.
As I said, early days so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for another episode. Interestingly it's a daily program.

I watched it this afternoon. The lady, Rachel's raucous laugh irritated me after a while. I agree it shows more what's happening off the ship than on. The three women seem to be sharing a suite is it? So will one of them be in another cabin do you think or is there a sofa bed? It's obviously very much a family and fun ship, not for me. Not sure if I'll watch another episode. The welcome goodies that the girls had in their cabin were amazing, I've certainly never seen anything like it on a P&O ship, even a suite.

I’ll give it one more go, but I’m getting a bit bored with it now. I live in hope but feel it’s a lost cause.

‘The couple’…..he’s a bit if a character but she’s annoying with an unfortunate mouth that makes jaws look like a gold fish.

I tried to get it on catch up yesterday evening - but they wanted an activation code. I'm sure it wasn't necessary last time... Couldn't be bothered to go through the palaver.
Was going to try again this morning, but after reading your comments I don't think I'll bother since the main reason was to see what the ship was like since we are going on Britannia next year.

Some suites have a sofa bed - not sure if all of them do.

Those are standard in a suite on Princess - they are termed "chef's welcome goodies"!

You would not get an idea of Britannia from this as although they are sister ships and the layout is basically the same they are poles apart with the decor - you would not recognise Britannia from this program

Watched first episode on catch-up last night - won’t be bothering with the rest - just found it a bit staged and boring

I'm sure it could put a lot of people off cruising if they thought all ships and passengers were like that. Recently I've seen both the new P&O TV advert and the Cunard one. They're like chalk and cheese. P&O lots of fun things, people enjoying drinks, singing etc. Cunard, very sophisticated, couple in formal wear. I suppose seeing the Cunard one would also put some people off. It's even more easy to see the direction which Carnival is pushing each of the ships.

What a rubbish program, obviously orchested by the film company..
We recorded it and watched when the ship called at Heraklion, Crete. The black lady and her partner called at a fish restaurant where you pick your choice from the display and it is then cooked. Her partner ordered mussels a whole fish and two other fish dishes, they didn't like fish and left the lot. What a waste, just to make a cruise program, Disgraceful waste of money and food.
Don't worry, be happy

I gather it wasn't very good then? :) Didn't watch it, didn't know it was on, certainly not going to having seen all your verdicts. Thanks for the thought anyway, Stephen.
