That looks awful…it makes our force 9 storm look like a paddling pool.

I’m surprised the Captain decided to sail knowing what the weather was going to be like. Hardly a slight swell.

I have a friend who was on board and it was indeed very rough and scary. However there is much ill informed criticism about the time line and decisions reached. For one thing the plan was not to sail into the storm but when they departed the Canaries a couple of days before they were headed to shelter in La Coruna. Unfortunately before they arrived it closed. So the option of not sailing wasn't there! Much of the coverage appears to be Compo driven.

Unless your compo forms come with a guarantee of a success expect abuse from Foxy and Sir Merv…they are akin to your worst nightmare.

While reality hasn’t on some occasions lived up to expectation, the thought was there

You do seem to have the same problem with the truth as the politicians you are constantly complaining about.

Just read on Facebook, so it's probably cobblers, that all passengers are being offered reimbursement and counselling if required. Blimey Stephen's Compo forms must be good.
