That and the current court goings on in the USA! The joys and advantages on an 'elected' president eh?

So Boris is to blame for the continuing war in Ukraine according to Putin.

I'm no Boris fan, but what nonsense, Putin will only stop this war on his terms.

I know that Merv looks good in a Tux, from his Azura adverts, but not sure he could do the full 007.

Interesting comment from Piers Morgan...."invading the privacy of the Royal Family is utterly reprehensible, on that I share Prince Harry's opinion. "

The man clearly has mental issues so I do hope he gets the help he needs before he is allowed to air more bigoted spurious opinions about those who have moved on with their lives.

Yes great quote. And the settlement is a victory for no-one, least of all the truth. Less than half of the first set of Harry's allegations that were tried were accepted by the judge. It is possible the outcome of the next batch was likely to be the same. I think both sides knew the only winners would be the lawyers' bank balances and they've called it quits.

Nevertheless, it has cost the Mirror Group many thousands in legal fees and a ‘substantial’ settlment in respect of Harry’s successful claim against them. No doubt you will be pleased to hear Harry still intends to pursue other news groups for their part in this disgraceful infringement into his personal life.

Well he does need to replace his lost income from Netflix somehow I suppose, and if he kept his mouth shut maybe his personal life would not be infringed.

Harry has already opened up about his mental/emotional issues, but if you think Piers Morgan's traits are that of a man with no mental issues then please take comfort in the fact that I am here for you should you wish to talk. :)

But Piers has no illusions about who he is so he doesn't really need a shrink to tell him, and despite all his flaws he is probably 100 times more intelligent that little pygmy Harry, who would be a total nobody if he wasn't a Royal.

To my knowledge he has never owned up to being a narcistic liar who uses people to further his own egoistic aspirations.

In Harry’s lawsuit against the Daily Mirror for “unlawful information gathering” about his life from 1995 through 2011, Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) Andrew Green KC admitted that Prince Harry was telling the truth all along. “Many [articles] came from information disclosed by or on behalf of royal households or members of the royal family,” Green noted in a written statement, via The Times.

That's not what Harry claimed. He claimed it was all from illegal means, such as phone hacking. It's
not illegal if Royal household members or family members are telling tales. It's not very nice. But And it's no worse than his own behaviour in his book and Netflix series. Pot, kettle, black.

I was under the impression that all Royal Household staff are required to sign an NDA as a condition of their employment?
It will be interesting to hear who of the Royal Household gets the sack.

Being told he can’t stand seems to be a fair compromise considering the alternative of being politically assassinated of thrown into prison for 30 years. Russia and the world has become a far more dangerous place with the passing of Gorbachev.
After the Post Office Horizon scandal, I doubt that NDAs will ever have any legal credence in the future.

Breaching an NDA is not a criminal offence. And it was not phone hacking, nor done by the press apparently. So my point stands. His case is not proven. Settling out of court doesn't mean guilt. It means taking a pragmatic view and avoiding escalating costs on both sides. Maybe Harry should try suing the staff instead of the press? And my second point stands too. No worse than what Harry has done himself.

That’s one way of looking at it  How nice of them to pay Harry’s legal fees, and substantial damages…next, you’ll be telling me money grows on trees.
