That's not what the case was about. They didn't challenge the stories, only the methods of obtaining them.

I concede that technically speaking you are correct; however, it is pretty clear that lies have been told during what was the "widespread and habitual" hacking of phones

It was interesting that MGN decided not to call Piers Morgan as a defence witness…perhaps they knew something we already know…

I think the British media have used the couple for headline story making, stories which are now being found to be fabricated or downright untrue.
Far from it. The court cases have found some of the stories were obtained by dubious means, not that they were untrue. If one was going to fabricate a story phone hacking would not be required.
Damages excluding legal fees thought to be in the region of £400,000 suggests someone has been telling lies.
But you dont believe anything you read in the media!!!!

That is correct John…but I do read between the lines, this allows for a more open view of how one sees what lies behind the headlines.

Perhaps you'd care to list the lies told as I'm really not aware of them.

I guess it pays to have a vivid imagination, it must help to maintain your delusions.

It’s a shame that this topic of discussion has succumbed to personal name calling/insults, however, I’m happy to take it on the chin because I know this is what happens when the perpetrator/s feel they have no constructive opinions left to give.

While taking it on the chin I'm still hoping you might list the lies the media have told about H&M that I've missed.

Meanwhile

BBC News - Prince Harry interview: Duke of Sussex set to speak about King's health
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68314330

Firstly I sincerely hope Harry is not going to discuss details of the King's health that Charles has chosen to keep to himself. But more I'm appalled that he has agreed to take part in a US TV show that is prepared to tittilate that he might do so to promote itself. That's a whole new low.

What else do they offer apart from talking about themselves and how hard done by they are?

Meanwhile it looks like the Monarchy is in safe hands for a good while yet. Perhaps we need a few more illegal immigrants with no allegiance to the country or the Monarchy to swing the vote the Republican way.

That's a bit of a blow for the republicans, who seem to think it's only old people like the monarchy.

Not that I know anything about old people of course. :-)

But have we found out yet what lies were told about Harry? Perhaps the Office Prince Harry will be able to enlighten us. Or maybe not.

I did consider your request but then I thought back to the many times when you yourself have said that the press can’t be trusted… so with this in mind I’m not inclined to sight the lies that I believe to be true…but if you are desperately trying to convince yourself that the press don’t tell untruths about Lovely Meghan and Harry then you should read this…

You’re having a laugh aint ya Foxy…if you told a class full of 6-year-olds to draw a picture of 6 white horses pulling a carriage full of waving royals there’s a fair chance they would talk favourably about them, as for the 12-year-old discussing the virtues of having a monarchy the teacher is hardly going to tell them the negative side of keeping the freeloaders are they?

I see it more of an act of desperation when they have to ask 6- to 12-year-olds what they think of the Royal family…. thankfully when they grow up, they will be able to have a more informed opinion.

So, Prince Harry is considering becoming an American citizen but fears his royal title is holding him back.
Well, that’s easily rectified, isn’t it 😂

I hadn't ealised that Onelife was a 20 to 40 yr old affluent female commuter, which is apparently the target audience for the Stylist.

Once again that is all about press intrusion, not about lies. I can only conclude OL that you can't think of any.

Was it just an oversight to leave out the rest of what Stylist reports on, such as taking an intelligent approach, covering a broader range of culture and tackling issues women face in their professional and personal lives. Or was it just the case that it didn’t meet your narrative?

You can conclude what you like Sir Merv, the article demonstrates quite clearly how the press manipulates the truth, which is why most of the stories you read about Meghan and Harry are embellished for readers such as you.

Just settle the debate by listing three lies the media told. Bullet points will do.

Was there ever any doubt.!

Strange that his body seems to have disappeared. Maybe they don’t want an autopsy.? Or is that me being sceptical.
