So, what do you think the world will look like 100 years from now?

How about a twenty-hour working week due to an AI workforce, or perhaps Antarctic being the holiday destination of choice due to rising temperatures?

Open your minds and lets hear your best predictions...I'll let you know if you are right :)

If Nostradamus 2024 predictions come true, I dread to think what forum members will call me…

He has predicted the dethroning of King Charles very early in his reign.

What I can predict is that if it happens you won’t hear the last of it from me

The odds of winning the lottery would suggest you would be better off placing your two pounds on one of Onelifes horse racing tips  :)

.....

Considering the response I’ve had to this new topic, my prediction is that it is going to be a very boring forum /century if members can’t be bothered to participate.

Unfortunately Onelife, the cruising topics are now down to the few that now post about their cruises and the odd Post or two connected with cruises/ships.
It would be nice to see fresh input on these topics.
Considering this is the friendly forum, no one should have any fears of posting on any topic.

As for your new topic Onelife , I couldn't predict what the world will be like in a few months, let alone 100 years.
Don't worry, be happy

Me too. However I predict Prince George's daughter will be Queen. Prince Harry's great grandchildren will still be griping about the media. Great grandchildren of Remainers will still be blaming Boris. The EU will have been dissolved. Russia will be invading itself. Trump will have been found guilty of serial killing, died, been stuffed and be running for a 25th term as President. There will still be repeats of Midsomer Murders on TV. The Covid inquiry will still be running. Our little town will have fallen into one big pothole. And P&Os new ship, Gargantua, will be taking 30,000 passengers on a 14 night booze cruise with no ports, with prices from £299.

The reason I posted my 2124 topic was because I have been noticing a gradual lack of interest in the forum of late, I thought, wrongly that it might create a little bit of interest other that of the current affair’s thread.

I shall now start spending more time talking to the girls as I think it will be far less painful than watching what was a great forum fall into decline,…decline primarily due to lack of impute from its members.

If I could offer one last bit of advice it would be that David might consider ditching the “Current Affairs thread” allowing other general topics of discussion (including current Affairs) to have their own threads, this way more discussion should flow on those particular topics, which in turn should allow them time to reach their conclusion before being superseded by another topic which is often the case with the current affairs thread.

Keep posting

I have wondered if the past members of this site we no longer hear from still cruise and don't use any site to give reports of their cruises. The only other site I read the occasional report is Cruise Critic. Such a shame we don't still hear from those people who used to contribute regularly to the site. I still visit the site every day and occasionally contribute. I'm not a great one for entering into some of the political argument that goes on and I tend to keep clear of the Harry/Meghan debate but I enjoy reading it.
