On the basis that she believes that Trump would be good for the world and abandoning the UN - then yes I do have serious concerns over her judgement.

Having seen some of her interview last night I am of the opinion that she is somewhat delusional.

I’m more sceptical about Truss’s delusion? Whilst I accept, she tried and failed to push through her fiscal strategy I think it was more to do with timing and the fallout from covid that contributed to her not get the backing required to give her fiscal policies a chance. Whether she crashed the economy or whether the economy was already crashing is perhaps the question that should be asked.

I don’t think Truss is endorsing the virtues of trump as there are very few…I think her support derives from seeing a person that brushes aside all the waffle from the indoctrinated “woke” brigades and gets the job done…. albeit with mixed results.

Presently, in this country our leader and opposition leader are political footballs to those who kicks the ball the hardest.

I watched the BBC News this evening interviewing one of the released hostages who described in detail how the other hostages were being treated by Hamas…. distressing in the extreme.

My 18 yr old granddaughter thinks that since old people have less time to live, they shouldn't be allowed to vote when it will affect the younger generation for longer. You cant really argue with her logic, but where do you draw the line.

You could also apply a similar logic at the other end of the age range. How can an 18 year old have enough experience of life to have a realistic opinion on things such as taxation when in may cases they have not had any involvement with paying tax or paying a mortgage or running a business.

You need the whole spectrum of ages to get a balanced view coupled a knowledge gained from life's experience

Yes! It stretches the imagination a bit too far to believe she didn’t know what was going on… if he is indeed found guilty.

Maybe I'm naive but I'm not getting this fuss about the bloke in London being warned he was openly Jewish. I'm not seeing it as anti semitic or victim blaming. But rather a friendly warning that with rising tension and heated tempers that he was genuinely at risk of winding up others who might hurt him and potentially cause a riot. Is that any different from a beware of the bull notice or advising pensioners to not carry their purse openly on top of their handbag or motorists not to leave valuables on display when they park their cars?
