What is wrong with the mentality of young children.

Unread post by Ray B »

It pains me to post this video of what looks like a terrier type dog being swung around on the lead and thrown 20 feet in the air.
She has brought Shame on our fine City.
This is not what Norwich is, I do hope the full force of the law is brought down on her and the one who filmed it.
In reality she will just get talked to. =

It’s about time we started imposing fines on parents of these kids in order that they take their parenting roles seriously, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.

and then, when the dog bites ( and I don't blame it) the dog will be put to sleep - when it should be the owners

There are/have been several tv programs showing dog owners how to rectify bad behaviour in their dog/s…what would be more useful would be a series showing how to train puppies from 8 weeks to 12 months.

I walk around the park most mornings and see owners with out of control, yappy, mutts and think to myself “how can owners get any pleasure out of that experience”

What you can’t account for in this instance is nasty owners who treat their pets cruelly.

Don't blame you Stephen, I don't have a dog as I could not give it all the attention a good trained dog deserves, and as for cats, I can't stand the things.
But, one thing I cannot stand is any cruelty shown to any animal as like the girl in the video is doing.
Mabe put a collar and lead on her and see how she would like to be swung around and then launched into the air for 20 feet to land like a sack of spuds.

Also thinking of the 13 year old who allegedly stabbed two teachers and a pupil in a school in Wales.
It just seems unimaginable. The lives of so many people altered forever, as has been said, what is the country coming to.

I know that it is an easy answer that keeps being repeated but social media combined with peer pressure has a lot to answer for.

No discipline that’s the problem.

In my day if you misbehaved you got the cane or sent home with a letter to your parents. Not sure which was worse, the cane or taking the letter home anticipating the outcome. It certainly focused the mind and made you think twice about misbehaving again.

Fortunately I was a model student

It’s no wonder we have all this trouble with the do good nanny state we live in.

Equally worrying is that girls are now carrying and using knives, why on earth a thirteen year oid would take a knife to school is totally beyond my understanding.

They do it because they can and they know there's very little you can do about it. Little respect nowadays for anyone but themselves.
Thankfully not all young people are like that but too many are. Punishment at school didn't worry me. If I did wrong I took the Punishment but I was scared stiff my parents found out. Nowadays they can't get home fast enough to tell their parents themselves.

Never mind young people. What about older people? Why can some not follow simple instructions? Or think they don't apply to them? We're staying in a very nice hotel at the moment with one of the most extensive breakfast buffets I've ever seen. Including various different breads. And one of those continuous belt toasters. With a notice that says "please only use the sliced bread in this toaster". And a selection of various types of the same right next to it. So I watched this idiot woman go and fetch two rolls from an entirely different section and try to stuff them through it!

Sounds like a bit of a doughnut to me....just be thankful she didn't try a shove one of those through the toaster.

Btw...did the cop say..."you're toast" when he arrested you?

We stayed in a hotel in London which had one of those toasters so they put their bread in and then guarded it whilst their toast went through. Meanwhile nobody else could simultaneously put their bread in and a queue quickly formed. Looks of disapproval were handed out to anyone who dared to ask if they may put their bread in.
I do wonder what goes through these peoples minds. Not a lot I suggest or they just don't care.
Stupid machines anyway. They're always set up so the bread has to go through twice to get any level of browning.

I've also seen people who take the toast as it emerges without ever having put any bread in!

Agree with Foxy, those types of toasters are rubbish. You put the bread through once and it hardly browns, put it through again and it burns to a cinder.

To be fair the one here works well, when it's not jammed with bread rolls! But I can understand that when you're in Maldon Malta is a long way to go for a slice of toast...
