It’s time to put out those hanging baskets so with this in mind just a reminder to protect them ‘the best you can’ from thieves. Only yesterday I noticed an article in the Shropshire paper that hanging basket thefts are on the rise, no wonder when a decent sised basket can set you back £35+
I always secure my baskets to the wall bracket via a chain, I also use plastic ties…not fool prove by any means, but it does give you a fighting chance of making it more difficult for the miserable sods who try and nick them.

A little bit early for those of uoop north as there is still a remote chance of a bit of frost - mine are doing very nicely in the greenhouse for the next week or so.

£35? Good grief, if I pay £15 I think I'm being robbed but the advantage is nobody nicks them.
Where did you say you live OL? Two would be handy as they will be going in the back garden so nobody need know.
