I thought a draw would have been a much fairer result, I also prefer to see winning goals scored from open play rather than via set pieces.

Because Paul thinks Leicester City deserved their win I will NOT be watching the Palace tonight, so there .... although I would if we had Sky ;)

My prediction on this one is for Brighton to edge it into the Final at Wembley vs Watford.

Why has the FA Cup become such a second class competition ?

Once the most eagerly awaited Football last game of the season, kicked off 15.00, always a big party day to end the season

Though it will be a big day for the minnows tomorrow

I will cheering for Wigan - they have a very charisma manager and deserves a big day

Probably just view the highlights whilst sipping my bedtime Horlicks

I don't know to be honest big fellah.

Danny East was on loan at Gillingham for the best part of last season but didn't get any game time.

So, we don't know how good or bad he is.
I do know that Martin Allen invited him to pre season training on trial, to try and win a contract, so he must have something about him.

I still fear Pompey are doomed. They are bookies favourites for League Two next season but I think they'll do well to stay up.
They have a team of untried kids and geriatrics

We ain't out of it yet....Right us off at your peril....It is only half time.

ObF...See you :shh: at Wembley.

Today used to be such a special day for us football fans....The FA Cup Final...I am just settling down to watch it.....The FA should be ashamed of what they have allowed the FA Cup to become especially the Final...It is tantamount to a money grabbing vandalism of football's greatest tradition.....

Well I'm watching it and good luck to both teams...I don't really care who wins as long as its Wigan...

I always support the under dog.

Did anyone see the opening of the FA Cup Final or more to the point the quartet Amorie ( sp ) and in particular the singer in the creamy coloured dress, I'm sure she wasn't aware of how revealing it was but the camera kept zooming in on her giving anyone viewing an "eye full" :o

No missed it...I was constructing an interesting, thoutht provoking, unbiased, well balanced and excellant post re the FA's almost criminal act of allowing the demise of their world famous competition.

In short I was too busy moaning and missed the opera singing diva flash her threepenny bits about. no wonder the bloke hit so many bum notes.

Another PTE gem

Wishing you well for your CP to gain the ultimate Premiership for next season

Beware it is a struggle as Soton has found out the hard way - fingers crossed - they could just scrap through

Well done Wigan.

I heard on Sky Sports that you could get 18-1 against a Wigan win in normal time. I said that if I were at home I'd have a punt at that....

Brilliant, fantastic, wonderful...well done Wigan, if ever a team deserved to win the FA Cup then is was Wigan and our Ben (Palace invented Ben Watson) who scored the winning goal.

Well done Roberto Martinez (now he is a real manager)....and i am tickled pink for Dave Whelan.

One's Watford Teddy is indeed imperfect but he was cribbed direct from the Hornet shop.

Paul I wish you well at Brighton but Mr Zaha will be focused on ManU and sadly your Mr Murrey is out with a suspected cruciate ligament problem, apart from that Brighton play the better football

Dave Whelan was to lead the team out ... did he and what a wonderful end to a story book tale. Mr Martinez will now be departing to Everton no doubt.

Wow, well done Wigan ! I was urging them on, they dominated the game but didn't take the chances they created. They really did deserve to win. I was shouting at the screen when they were celebrating the goal, you deserve that ! Can't be doing with deliberate fouls by City, cheats should NEVER win. Congratulations Wigan !

That goal may have been in normal time for Wigan, but it had been Man U. who had won, it would have been called "Fergie Time"!!

On a very slight negative, has anyone ever seen a worse effort for Cup Final coverage than this one by ITV?

I thought it was absolutely appalling! Adrian Boring-Brummie with Mr Personality Roy Keane as the 'expert'
Then Andy ( I once played against Figo) Townsend with the commentary.
Maybe he works a bit on radio but we don't need someone to tell us what we are actually watching.

Have they never watched Sky coverage of football? ITV have a lot to learn.
