Only time will tell but I am not holding my breath.

There are two factors that will define her - how the Conservatives perform at the next couple of by elections (whenever they may be) and if the Reform party continue to attract support.

I doubt that she will still be leader come the next General Election (assuming the the government runs full term)

Sir Keir is already doing that. Tories now ahead in the latest poll.

It depends on whether she says what she thinks while knowing the consequences or says what she thinks without knowing the consequences.

Labour got in with some very slim majorities. Some of us have very long memories of previous Labour governments and so far this one seems to be no different.

Difference being some things don't hit you in the pocket and affect your way of life for years ahead with hair-brained philosophies.

It shouldn’t come as a shock; we’ve had 14 years to get used to them.

Let's hope that she has the sense to include a full range of all wings of the party, and that she chooses on competence rather than ideology.

Sadly many of substance where kicked out during Johnston’s reign.

Yes, that would be a step in the right direction.

I thought many of these showed their loyalty by defecting, rather staying and fighting their corner.

Having ruled himself out of a shadow cabinet position I wonder if James Cleverly new position will be working behind the scenes gathering his tribe for the next assault on the party leadership?

The best job in the world is being a politician in opposition.
You don’t need to do anything.
You just need to say what you would do.
Her job now consists of objecting to everything and voting against everything.
There, job done.

In fact with the overall majority that Labour have all opposition parties are irrelevant.
