Dear Graham,

Sadly not....mine is a nice and practical Toyota Avensis Tourer and The Lady Admiral has a Renault Megane...both are now positively gleaming outside on the driveway. If you ever pop up to Hull I will take you to see a chap I know who has a collection of twenty or so Humbers including a beaufiful Snipe.....and a rather musclely lookung Sceptre!

I don't know if you know it but there are books what learn you to talk proper like you was from Ull. Here are a couple of examples:

Ezzle Rerd (Hessle Road)

We got some pairple cairtians on the winder what ovverlooks the ten-foot. (We have lilac drapes over the window which overlooks the snicket at the rear of our house.)

Bet you're champing at the bit...

Well technically it's next year but Sheila and I being second time around hit our tenth anniversary on Valentine's Day next year and went on our first cruise for our honeymoon so we're eyeing up a Caribbean to cover this next year but will probably hold our nerve and wait for Getaway Deals :D

Now then Chris,

Are you and Mrs Keechy up for a loud party with a loud band in Willerby next Saturday night? You'd get to see just how ugly Darknight and Romig are and find out how pleasant me and Wina are!

Let me know and I will send details!

Regards

Bummer! We have something arranged but thanks anyway.

Sounds like the Springhead - a great venue for live bands.

Golden Wedding Anniversary in October.

Yes folks we are the ones responsible for the deterioration in moral values, Paedophilia, murders, War, Pestilence etc. Then add bringing the country to its knees by taking the pension and serps that we paid into and spending it, when everyone knows that we should be flailing ourselves and sitting in sack cloth and ashes weeping with shame, and begging forgiveness. ;)

Yep, its all down to me and my generation. We are responsible for everything thats wrong.

I was hoping to celebrate our 50th with a nice cruise, but Sue has decided that she has had enough for this year. Perhaps she is right, the stewards sing Happy Birthday quite well, but I haven't heard a decent rendition of Congratulations yet. However the 2014 brochure is here and I am working on making up for lost time next year.

You will gather that I was a child bride!

Wait a minute Frank you can't take ALL the credit, I think the rest of us 'baby boomers' had some hand in it apparently
Congratulations on your 50th Anniversary, in October. It will be our 44th in October. I too was a child bride ;)

There you are Mo and Emjay, we did get something right after all.

I was lucky in many ways, and one of them was having a lovely Mother in Law. She was the tops for me.

We've had a special anniversary this year - and it was suitably celebrated.
