The problem for me is one isn't allowed to have an alternative opinion. I don't find drag artists remotely entertaining and don't understand while they have to infiltrate every other programme. Drag Race is there for the fans. Would they like it if their programme had compulsory football added for the footie fans, or a weekly whodunit for those who like nice crime drama? And to be clear I am not homophobic. It just doesn't appeal.

One poor soul who dared to say he didn't enjoy it in a Facebook Strictly group was accused of being frightened of drag queens. How absurd.

And I don't like the gay innuendo etc either. Gregg Wallace basically gets his career ended for alleged and not yet investigated inappropriate sexual comments off camera, yet these queens do it all the time on screen. Gio gets the boot from Strictly for alleged, and then unproven, sexual harassment by Amanda Abbington, while Layton Williams can't keep his hands of his straight male pro partner.

Where is the balance? If you're "normal" you've no chance.

Sorry to be controversial but I quite welcome it............

When these people are strutting their stuff it gives me an oppprtunity to go to the loo, make a couple of coffees and do anything else until they are finished. Apart from that they should stick with RuPaul(ine) or whatever it is to entertain themselves. Unfortunately it is already having an impact on some of our more impressionable youngsters - teachers having to be careful to use the right pronouns, literature mirroring the LGBGT influence, boys given the option of going to school in skirts etc if they wish and deciding which name they will use. Why can these people not leave them alone to determine what they want to be at a more appropriate time but until then they accept the gender they were born with?
It seems fashionable at the moment for those on TV, whether actors (no longer use the term actresses), news presenters etc to just drop it in about 'my (gay) husband/wife'. I'm not interested darling, just get on with doing your job.
On the subject of there no longer being actresses I notice we no longer have batsmen either. They are now called batters!!!
Total wokeness gone mad!!!
I think your post encapsulates how far wokeism has come and how damaging it will be in the future.

I’m not sure we know where banter, whether it be sexual or just silly innuendos start of finish theses days, to this end I think many men feel intimidated in their approach to women as nearly anything you say could/might be construed in ways that might cause offence. That being said no woman should have to endure banter which is presented in a way that most decent men would know is inappropriate, whether it be physical or verbal.

Like I’ve said to my daughter, if any man disrespects you, grab hold of their balls and squeeze until you see tears in their eyes.

Which is exactly what Amanda Abbington and Kirsty Wark should have done if they were offended.

OL, let's not lower ourselves, “But I say to you, do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also”
Don't worry, be happy

Don't believe him Ray.
We always used to be invited to the naming of P&O's ships until the Adonia naming ceremony when there were some right goings on involving OL and w've never been invited again!!
Stephen would be able to tell you all about it unless OL has bribed him to secrecy but for the right price I will tell you what Mob told me!!! :silent:
