38-year-old Albanian who has been deported and illegally re-entered England appeared in Norwich Magistrates. He was arrested for growing cannabis and stealing electricity, remanded to Crown Court in June.
Can't get rid of him fast enough, not welcome here.

I fully agree. There are too many illegals which impacts in every aspect of our society, failure to integrate and many have no intention of integrating, erosion of our culture to accommodate them which ultimately leads to a divided society.Onelife wrote: 01 Jun 2025, 16:28Put me in charge and I would have it sorted within a month…we have this stupid idea that the French are trying to prevent theses crossingsStephen wrote: 01 Jun 2025, 15:05The hotels over here must be coining it in.
More than 1,000 migrants cross Channel in a day https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clyqze17q9do![]()

Short, sharp, no-nonsense approach is the only thing that is going to stop these illegal immigrants entering our country.
We are going to rue the day we allowed this to happen, not only because of the cost implications but also because of what it is doing to the very fabric of society in this country.![]()
Many European countries already have immigration policies in place and are tackling the problem and meanwhile we talk about it and do b***r all.

And the French police just stand and watch it happening. I suspect as far as they’re concerned it’s one less problem for them as the immigrants sail of towards blighty.

If they moved the Immigrant camps 250 miles inland that might make life very difficult for the people traffickers.Stephen wrote: 02 Jun 2025, 10:03And the French police just stand and watch it happening. Agree John, but no doubt they'd still work round it, and probably charge them mileage as well.

Bring in conscription for all 18 year olds. Not only would it catch out all those not in education not in work but I wonder how many young immigrants would be so keen on UK if the minute they got off the boats they would be drafted into the armed forces.

That’s exactly what Mrs S said to me earlier Foxy. But we both know it’ll never happen.

Of course it won't. They would be able to use the same boats they came on for their return journey. Don't throw them away!!!

Re: Current Affairs 2025
I just gotta say how I'm amazed that we are still spending money on the Madeleine McCann case....
Last year it was £192,000 and this year £108,000 and the total so far over £13 million since 2011
There are other missing children who haven't had anywhere near that amount spent on their disappearance
If your child is missing would you answer 48 questions with the words No Comment ?
What about the question Kate answered....
Q. Are you aware that in not answering the questions you are jeopardising the investigation, which seeks to discover what happened to your daughter?
A. 'Yes, if that’s what the investigation thinks.'
They may have had nothing to do with the abduction but why refuse to answer simple questions to help the investigation
Probably very much in the minority but getting tired of seeing this go on & on whilst other investigations seem to be not as important

If I recall didn't the parents leave the child alone whilst they went out partying and then make out that it was everyone else's fault?Portsmouth wrote: 03 Jun 2025, 11:09I just gotta say how I'm amazed that we are still spending money on the Madeleine McCann case....

Apparently they went to a nearby restaurant leaving minors unattended.

Strange how the re-opened investigations happen in the summer!

The suspect guy is due for release from prison soon, so it maybe they want to get him for the little girls disappearance before he flees.

I would Imagine the German police are footing the bill for this week's investigations.

Had to smile this morning when on the news there was a bit about the spat between Trump and Musk with Trump saying "everything I have done to help him [Musk]" - so a multi times bankrupt has helped the richest man in the world?

From EM’s X page
‘In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately’
Looks like it’s going home with my bat & my ball time.
Next episode; my dad’s bigger than yours.
& the sequel ‘Your mum …etc.’

Trumps friendship with Vlad also seem strained, he'll soon become Billy no mates.
On the subject of Vlad, he's now pointing the finger of blame for blowing up his planes on the UK.

Surprised she didn’t insist on swimming home rather than flying and all those nasty pollutants.

Whilst I don't have much time for her I do feel on this occasion that being involved with this has highlighted not only the situation in Gaza but the behaviour of the Israelis by seizing the boat in international waters.Stephen wrote: 10 Jun 2025, 12:36Surprised she didn’t insist on swimming home rather than flying and all those nasty pollutants.

Her and her other pathetic cronies don’t have to advertise what’s happening,it’s pushed down our throats every news time, not saying it’s wrong.

I think that what has been highlighted, and something that I was not aware of (or maybe forgotten about) was that Isreal is blockading access to Gaza by sea and has been doing for quite some years.

The main thing that I am getting from Rachel's spending review is that Council Tax will be going up!
It remains to be seen how much of this spending review actually come to anything, or is it just words?
