Mervyn and the other woman Beatrice.

Unread post by Ray B »

Things that you can casually pick up from more or less unassuming conversation. And this came from Merv and what he would be doing Saturday last.
Now I know some of you have been in the company of Mervyn and his loverly wife Trish, and may already know this.
Know what, I can hear some of you saying, get on with it man.
Well I will, just stringing this out a bit longer for those that don't know.
Now Merv has another woman on the side.
Gosh! Not Merv you're thinking.
I have to tell it's true. Her name is Betrice, and having seen her, I must say how beautiful she is, very attractive.
I can understand Merv falling in love with her, given the chance, I certainly would take her out.
Well done Merv, you certainly can pick the woman.

Honestly Stephen. We are talking about Merv, and when I say she is a cracker I really do mean that. My thoughts were, Wow.
I'm just hoping I haven't upset Merv, he may have wanted this not to get out.
I would hope he is proud enough to one day introduce her to you, and like Trish, his wife , you will like Beatrice as I'm sure you will.

Beatrice, not a name I warm to…irrespective of what guise she comes in. :)

So I haven't a clue what this is all about......however as this is posted under Cruising for the Disabled is it possible that Mervyn has had some sort of accident and now has the assistance of an attractive carer whose name is Beatrice ?
Could it be that Mervyn is now in a wheelchair and being taken around by this carer because his wife can't manage ?
Well I'm sure that Ray B or Mervyn will let us know in due course.

Ray wouldn’t sound so loved up if something had happened to Sir Merv…I rather suspect Sir Merv has gone and got himself a guide dog puppy or somthing similar....perhaps even a Teddy Bear for thoses cold winter nights?

Sir Merv may be sitting back and seeing how far this goes, or is fuming!
Actually, Pompey is batting in the correct area,. I wondered how long it would take someone to do a bit of detective work and start to put 2&2 together.
David may be a bit relieved now, knowing a law suit is not coming his way.

Well, if Beatrice turns out to be a Nurse he better not keep asking for a full bed bath every day cus she’s going to get suspicious that he’s enjoying the experience far too much.

My afternoon with Beatrice was lovely and we had some very nice cakes. I did however have to share her with a few other people.

Thank gawd for that, I was starting to think you’d gone and bought one of those blow-up dolls that Stephen uses….

This is just a bit of fun with the mystery woman, and no Stephen not exactly correct. OL, this is Mervyn!
When Merv was casually talking about Beatrice he may have not realised someone was listening 🤣😂
The revelation will be nice. We can wait a bit longer to see if Merv comes clean, or I may have to reveal the loverly Beatrice myself.

The wonderful THE BEATRICE CHARITY

The narrowboat Beatrice operates on the
Caldon Canal in north Staffordshire, working in partnership with schools for children with additional (special) educational needs; and, out of term, for groups benefiting from its disabled facilities, and selected adults with learning and other disabilities, giving them an opportunity to have an experience that would otherwise be denied to them. These trips take place on the Caldon Canal in North Staffordshire
It is available for fundraising trips out of term, at weekends, and on some summer evenings

From his posts I wouldn't have thought Mervyn had learning disabilities  .....but it's good to hear he had a great day out

....with a good heart giving his time to this charity

I was aware that Sir Merv had connections to this Charity but I didn’t put two and two together.....I need to cleanse my mind of the obvious
