Strictly Come Dancing 2025
Here we go again - it's that time of year (already)
https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/artic ... confirmed/
Based on current attitudes within the BBC anyone taking bets on who will be first to come under the spotlight for "inappropriate" behaviour/comments?

Well, I won’t be throwing my money away too early this year cus the best dancer rarely wins…. let me know if any of the contestants has a glass eye, wooden leg and stutters.

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
I have nothing against disabled contestants. My Gt Grandson is disabled with severe autism and my Cousin has a Downs Daughter. But yes ‘ Novelty acts’ like X factor etc are usually sure firewinners regardless of actual ability. Those judges and presenters get right on my tits, nothing but a bunch of bloody luvies.Time to scrap it,it’s outlived it’s time.

Agree screwy. It's becoming more like a pantomime than a dancing competition show.screwy wrote: 13 Aug 2025, 11:45I have nothing against disabled contestants. Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
But why would they scrap it while it's still the biggest show on Saturday night on any channel? Those who don't like it please choose another channel and leave it alone for those of us who do.
P s. But I could do without the Drag acts. Why do they have to be on every show these days?

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2025
I choose not to watch it.
Mrs B records it and fast forwards through the pfaff.
While I fully appreciate the training and commitment of the professionals, in my opinion, it’s had its day.
Like all good things, they come to an end.

Brucie was very talented in his day but was well past it. Couldn't even deliver his scripted jokes properly. I much prefer Claudia's spontaneous humour.

Agree, as towards the end Brucie was struggling. Yes, Claudia does have a good sense of humour.

Seeing that I haven’t heard of any of these so-called Celebs a refreshing change would be to select non celebs such as cleaners, nurses, dustmen, waitresses…even a racing tipster like me
