I know nobody ever owns up to it but will you be watching and do you think we have a chance of winning this year?

Hi PTE

I like the song but I’ll reserve judgment on Bonnie’s singing performance until I’ve heard her singing it live on stage.

As for winning... I’ll lay any amount you wish to wager :D

Regards

Keith

I like the results bit, as it's got one of my TV highlights of the year, when Cyprus give Greece 12 points. One day, they'll only give them 10 points and the whole of Europe will fall off their sofas in shock.

Of course, we have no chance of winning, as everyone votes for their friends, and no one likes us.

If we were any other nation we'd have been demoted to the Conference, but we stay in the Premiership as we pay for most of it

I like Bonnie Tyler but haven't heard the song. No I won't be watching it. There is no point most of the countries won't vote for Britain, and It bores me anyhow.

Can't bear the show and not too keen on the song either, so if we're in, we shan't be watching.

Like GillW I only watch the results bit....That's good fun, predicting which country will get the voting countries 12 points...Sir Terry was brilliant at that, Graham Norton tries but he is pants compared with Terry.

They reckon that the Eurovision is watched by millions...but I don't know anybody who admits it

I did used to watch the results when Terry Wogan did the show. The songs were naff but Terry could be hilarious when he'd insult an entire country with a daft comment.

I used to watch it but listen to Ray Moore's commentary on the radio, as I am not a fan of Sir Terry. Haven't watched it for years, since it became overtly political. The Lady C likes to watch the results but, fortunately for me, she's out this Saturday, so I'll be able to put a decent film on instead.

I will be listening to the excellent band Stikky Fingers ( " they don't LOOK like the Rolling Stones but the SOUND like them")....as I drink myself into my 50's.

Come on the FIFTIES.......I'm ready for you...you don't frighten me ......I am 50 going on about 36!!!!!

Good evening

No matter how good the song, or the performer, other countries vote for the UK. Even Terry Wogan used to take the pee out of it, reducing it to the farce it has become. I am going out for a meal on Saturday, so will not watch it.

Being a touch typist I ought not to make mistakes, but I have had two rather large glasses of Sauvignon Blanc ! I hope Ms Tyler does well, but having heard a couple of other countries entries, I fear she may also get nil points ! :(
