don’t you just love Harry and Meghan for showing them that there is a happy life outside of the extortionately expensive Gold fish bowl
If that is happiness you can keep it. They look the most miserable couple on the planet.
I think you are allowing your distain of the lovely couple to cloud your vision of what is obviously a very happy marriage…I just wish Kate could find the courage to leave Willy and find the same love that both Harry and Meghan enjoy.

Not sure where you are getting that information from but almost every article I read about them would appear to indicate that their marriage is in trouble and that Harry does not have a plan B

If you believe everything the media puts out about them, they have had ten affairs, separated 15 times and kicked a Corgi every time they bump into one.

Not everything but there is a consensus - but unless I have a direct line to them as you must have there is nothing else to go on.

You would make a great Trump scriptwriter Onelife, you make fantasy sound almost believable.

I don’t as yet have a direct line but I do keep sending them “thinking of you” cards :)

The British press are habitual liars so any consensus should be taken with a pinch of salt. Do you remember the headlines where the tabloids couldn’t wait for Meghan to bugger off back off to American…then when she chose not to come to Charlie’s pantomime Coronation, she was slated for not doing so…. it’s no wonder I chose to see her as a brilliant advocate for women and one who could have changed the Institution for the better…alas, she was a woman of colour, intelligent and along with her husband became just as popular as Willy and Kate…. as a result, the firm fed the press malicious stories in which to discredit her…the stories about them won’t end but they will, I believe, live happily ever after.
….

John,

The only fantasy that I can see is the one you Royalists subscribe to.

That must mean then that the US press are also habitual liars as they are saying the same, if not worse, about the couple.

I see Charlie and Cam are off to the Vatican to say a few prayers…you would have thought he would have invited his son Andy along for the freebie…they could have both prayed for forgiveness for the way they both abused young women.

I guess if the Granny you adored and the favourite Uncle you loved and respected, had forced you to to give up the woman you loved, and marry someone you hardly knew, then you might have a bit more sympathy for C3 Onelife.

Abused young women you say. Is it not just an allegation which Andy deny, and the other party is dead, just leaving a manuscript which now can not be answered to.

So you would rather all these charities rented properties from someone else, and the King's properties remained empty, which would then need extra tax payers revenue to cover this lost revenue.

Not necessarily, but the landlord of these lands and properties should be made to pay the appropriate taxes as is the case with other business portfolios…and please don’t try and tell me the “Firm” isn’t a business.

Actually, I'm not so bothered about KC charging rent.....what does annoy me is charity executives who decide to pay these huge rates when they could pay half that moving their HQ to a city outside London or maybe in a less expensive area in London. That's one of the reasons I won't support big charities anymore and now support smaller ones instead.

I understand that the taxation concession given to the Monarchy was because they gave up their entitlement to the crown estate. So you have to blame the govt for that, and it would be up to the govt to renegotiate that.

They still get a massive cut from the crown estate, given to them through the Government administration of the Crown estate. This of course is a necessity for the upkeep of their obscene lifestyles and the ridiculous pomp and ceremony that goes along with it.

Charlie and son Willie don’t pay capital gains tax on their personal estates and neither have they paid inheritance tax on them either. There is no legal requirement for them to have their tax affairs scrutinized but they do from what we are told voluntarily contribute to the tax system, however, this is a top-secret arrangement administered through the Firm.

As Andrew would put it…"they think it is a Royal privilege".

Thankfully people are now coming to their senses about the absurdity of having these freeloaders sponging off the country.

The National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) has released new findings from the British Social Attitudes (BSA) survey, showing how the public’s views towards the monarchy have shifted over the past four decades.

Support for the monarchy at its lowest level since records began

When the question was first asked in 1983, over four in five (86%) people in Britain said it was ‘very important’ or ‘quite important’ to continue having a monarchy. In 2024, around a half (51%) now take this view, the lowest level of support recorded since NatCen began tracking public opinion.

Meanwhile, the proportion who say the monarchy is ‘not very important’ or ‘not at all important’ has risen from one in ten (10%) in 1983 to around three in ten (31%) in 2024. Support for outright abolition of the monarchy has also grown, from just 3% in 1983 to 15% in 2024.

I have every reason to believe Charlie will be dishing out the New Years Honours as if they were sweets in 2026…I would go as far as saying some of our ardent forum Royalists could be up for a gong…well he’s going to have to muster up support from somewhere.

One lesson our Royals should take from this unfortunate state of affairs is , do not get involved with Yanky woman, three times now, and it doesn't sit well with some people.
