BBC Sports personality of the year.

Unread post by Ray B »

It that time of year where we USE to watch the sports personality of the year.
The line up has been announced and Lando is obviously the one to vote for, if you are participating.
The old chestnut of when is a sport a sport and when is it a game.
Well beer swigging, pie eating Darts is a game. Favoured by the TV companies along with snooker for the armchair viewer, it lends itself to easy set up the cameras and that's it.
The only reason a darts player can be included in the line up is maybe he is a jolly good sport, not because he's a sportsman.
Don't worry, be happy

I guess the schoolgirl vote will have a big impact, but split over Chloe Kelley, Hannah Hampton and Ellie Kildunne, it will probably be spread too thin, and I doubt that the golf fraternity will be able to out vote the petrol heads, so I guess it's between Lando and Luke.

My vote would go to Ellie Kildunne who can always produce something pretty magical out of nowhere. However I expect Lando may clinch it.

If I was voting, which I won't be, it would be for Lando.

I would like to see Hannah Hampton win, she, along with her England team mates have been an inspiration for women’s football.
