The only thing that winds me up more than a drunk on a cruise is a table companion that is hard of hearing. Completely wrecks the ambience don'cha know

That does it Cubie, you're never dining with me on a cruise and I don't care if you've got an OBE.

Hmm.... questions posed and answered in the same sentence. I'm sure I've seen that before somewhere but can't quite put my finger on it.Supersleuth999 wrote:
From what I can gather this site is not quite as liberal with moderation as the old P & O site. Whilst on here they encourage friendship, the clique gets away with less . Why ? Because the moderators are more aware.
P & O seemed afraid of the regulars and their mass reporting strategy.
If you have any questions that you are unable to answer yourself (such as cruising related, perhaps) I'm sure we will do our utmost to answer them for you.
We're here to help.

I am beginning to like this site.
It has no closed groups and it is managed and moderated by those who are aware and not kids.

Maybe so, but it's nice to have a "general chat" area which is free of the abusive trolls who frequent other forums (fora??).

That''s good to hear Kendhni, but it's worth remembering that not everyone who doesn't have a cruising question has another agenda.

They're very accommodating on board - you can have brown sauce with whatever your little heart desires. Very popular with trifle and chips for those poor folk from 'Ull, I'm led to believe

Wow
this site is a mine of useful cruising type information, now a bit more complex this one
when on board do they provide towels and loo paper or do we have to bring our own?

Re: P&O Community site is back!!!!
You are allowed to bathe once on a 7 night cruise and twice for longer trips. Towels are only provided on request if you get very wet. The loos are very temperamental on board and you are discouraged from using them at all times. If you have a balcony cabin, you can go over the side otherwise you have to queue to use the bucket provided - one per deck

Re: P&O Community site is back!!!!
this cruising lark is well upmarket, beats benidorm into a cocked hat
now what about food on board, do we have to pay for extra beans, fried bread etc or is it all included and do we have to do the school dinner sittings or can we please ourselves? like we do at home, this fixed eating guff sounds like being in prison or at Butlins, nowt wrong wi' Butlins mind, had many a good do there
and I have heard stuff about blocks of flats at sea, does this mean there will be graffitti everywhere and some pikey chav selling dope in the lifts and stairwells and if they are , does anyone know if the little scrotes prices are duty free?
cheers for the elp, we are well up for this boat trip
