Deja vu

Unread post by Ray Scully »

Well !!!!!
Here we go again, civil war is once more breaking out in the Tory party.
Not really surprised, self interest has always been the order of the day amongst them.

Hi Ya Ray

This has to be the worst confection of chinless politicians ever to be in charge, directing, inspiring, leading our green and pleasant Isles

It is fast becoming an all round shambolic maelstrom tantamount to a Christmas Pantomime

We desperately need a modern day Oliver Cromwell look alike - or a devious Guy Folke's (sp)

Well I have a bloody gert wart on my chin and of sound mind, have you a finely tuned goatee beard and of good knowledge of TNT

Let's have a revolution and save our wonderful realm for the sake of our grand kindred

But not tonight

Euro Sing Along

. . . not to must three hours of sheer shite bliss

It is very much a repeatable pattern with nobody learning from history

Labour destroys the country
The Conservatives destroy themselves

PS: 'self interest'' is party agnostic

The Conservatives ain't doing such a bad job at destryoing the country at the moment....but that's another debate.

I think this sums up the the Tories and Europe.

"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."

Paul, I get the feeling that, like many, you have totally failed to comprehend what Rumsfelds was talking about or what the analogy means. It is a business analogy and he missed out the 4th category which is 'unknown knowns'. I think you have been dying to use that quote somewhere but, because you don't understand it, have actually pasted them in a context which has absolutely no meaning???

To be fair we are actually starting to see the benefits from the COALITION government's policies ... although these will not be realised in full until the latter half of this decade (assuming that if Labour get in at the next election, they don't destroy the economy AGAIN).

Nobody understands that quote, it is a complete nonsense that has know meaning....but I applaud you  for a typical Tory response.

Of course those that think they are cleverer than that us mere mortals will try and tell you different..It is like people who pretent to understand wine..a bit like the Emporers New Clothes scanario, total rubbish and so is this Government..

Paul, I thought so, the quote is only nonsense to those that can not comprehend its meaning ... it is actually pure common sense that describes the 4 stages of a learning process (although he only described the 3 easy ones, the fourth element I mentioned is the hardest one to grasp).

If you want I can explain it to you, in a way that you will understand (hopefully).

Say know more...It's rubbish and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever...You can dissect it and try to explain it to your hearts content but it will never make sense.

Sadly Paul on that one you are the victim of a dumbed down media.
It is a shame that those that can not understand something always try to ridicule it ... as the media did.
As I said when you read it carefully you will realise it is pure common senses .. in fact, once you do grasp the concept, you will then wonder how you could have been so stupid so as not to have understood it ... in this instance it is actually self fulfilling.

If you assure me it is a genuine quest to learn something then I will take the time to explain it. I managed to explain it in a career talk to a class of 12 year olds so I assume you will be able to grasp the same principles. At the time they all thought it was funny nonsense talk but once they got their heads around it made perfect sense to them to the point they were able to ask intelligent questions and give examples.

But according to you I ain't got the same interlect level as a 12 year old. So don't bother, I don't want you spending ages trying to explaining something that is a complete nonsense. What a captive audience you had there, half of them probably still believed in Father Christmas...so I expect that was quite a challenge.

I once convinced a group of 11 - 13 year olds that if they went swimming in the Thames then they would be eaten alive by vicious piranhas.

Children believe nonsense.

Oh dear .. talk of an inferiority complex. I said that I was able to explain it to a group of 12 year olds and assumed that you were more intelligent and so could grasp it ... since it is much harder to explain in type than it is in person (so would require more work on your part to understand). I actually spent a while searching for the slides I used in that presentation (came up short on that one).

I think your fear is that you won't be able to grasp it therefore it is easier for you to refer to it as nonsense. I always find it a shame when people simply ridicule that which they fear and/or can not understand ... but it is a common human trait. The difference between your piranha story and mine is that I was educating, you were telling lies.

If you don't trust me to explain it to you then I suggest you go and search for it on wikipedia which gives a reasonable explanation (although it does not give a full explanation and I personally think it is a bit over complex).

Nope....Don't want to...It's rubbish and it doesn't matter how many times you keep telling us that it makes sense it won't....It's complete clap trap...I have been looking at it on wiki and have googled it and I cannot find a single thing about this that makes sense.....I did however find this...

(cut and pasted)

Government's new mascot.

The government today announced it was chaging its symbol to a condom because it accurately reflects its political stance.
A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of dicks and gives you a
sense of security while you are actually being screwed.

England only need one more wicket to win the Test Match and Yeovil are beating Brentford 2-0 at half time...in the Play-offs.

And as I speak England have just won by 170 runs.....You have to look at the last wicket, it's amazing.

What a finish to a Test Match.

I a now going to watch the second half at Wembley.

.

It's now Yeovil 2 v Brentford 1....a brilliant game.

Which bit?
The stating of an impression given, the statement of fact or the offer to explain.

The saying that he had an inferiority complex and inferring that he wasnt as intelligent as a 12 year old.

Will that do?

In the posts you complain about maybe you can start by telling me the assumption i have clearly stated ... Or tell me where i have at any point said anybody was less intelligent than a 12 year old ... You will find that you have.failed to read properly. To be fair though I did not state my reasoning until the second post ... Which was that it is difficult to explain in typing.

On the second point, Paul on several occasions has felt the need to put his own levels of intelligence down which is one of my pet hates ... Nobody should ever do that. Some people may not understand the intricacies of any situation, but all points are valid but do expect others to challenge them ... If they are flawed.

In this case it is not a superiority complex, it is simply that a quote has been made without the person understanding the meaning ... And sadly not wwilling to learn ... So i would admit to superior knowledge, which some confuse with superiority complex. Similarly if it ever comes to football or QPR (or whichever team Paul supports) then his knowledge would be far superior to mine.

Why do you insist on baiting Paul, about politics?
you do it all the time, whenever he posts his views onpoliticsear childish and immature, If he doesn't want you to explain the quote, then why try to belittle him by saying a group of 12 year olds can understand it be he can't
John is right you sound very smug and superior, do you think for some reason you are something special and only you understand politics?

very sad to see you insult people in this way especially as you are supposed to be an impartial moderator
