Eurovision
Are you watching the Eurovision Song Contest ? Or are you bored with it ? Our family love it and we each score the songs as we watch. We never get the winner, one thing you can be sure, it won't be the UK !

Not watching, but might take a peek now that BGT has finished, and before choosing one of the 9pm films.

I'm watching too, OMG what is this Romania rubbish.... still at least they have neighbours who will vote for them....Great quote on the web just now - we won't get any votes as most of Europe hates us and those who don't are living here so soon will

Re: Eurovision
Well of course we don't take it seriously as we all know we have no chance of winning. It's tacky and cheesy ,but it's good fun and a good excuse for a party ( not that we need an excuse ! ) and actually some of the songs have been quite good tonight.

Best thing about it is the amazing predictability of where the points are going -

Yes, used to love it when terry wogan could predict every time who would get the votes! Graham norton is getting quite a lot right too.

Re: Eurovision
I enjoyed it last night because there easn't much else on I actually watch some of the songs being performed. Some of the staging and lighting was brilliant even if the songs weren't up to much...It was great fun.
Bonnie did well.....19th place with 21 points was a big improvement on last year and the song that won was a good one, reminded me of an Irish tune.

Not a short book, Ken, just a couple of chapters of a very good book, the second in a trilogy, written by a good friend of ours.

I had this taped and thought the right song won. Again, I thought the UK song was absolute crap, and Bonnie Tylers face was just YUK!!!
