STOP PRESS

Apart from what remains of tickets for wheelchair and ambulant disabled supporters, Hornets' fans have scooped every last one of the club's 34,000-plus Wembley Stadium allocation.

ps ... Watford FC would like to thank supporters for their support and for preventing any Palace fans getting their grubby little hands on them. ( tic )

Have you got yours MoB? Where abouts you sitting, behind the goal or down the touchline?

If Watford's back four are as slow as their fans are at buying Wembley tickets Monday will be a doddle (worse luck)......I am pleased that Watford have finally sold their alloction, at least now, when their fans are out sung and out supported by the Eagles fans those 'orrible 'Ornets can't say "but they had more fans than we did."

Thought about it long n hard but decided to watch it on Sky instead and to make a day of it with friends who sure know how to celebrate a victory

Your lot can sing their little hearts out while ours will just keep singing " One more Hornetto, score more for me ... "

Hey, I wish for a great game and for the best side to win and that it is a contest rather than a walkover for either side.

"He's not there for the money" !! There are reports today that "loyal" Gareth Bale-out is seeking £200,000 per WEEK to stay at Spurs. That's tantermount to blackmail and symptomatic of all that is wrong with the "premier" league

Like it or not, football is a business and clubs will pay market prices to keep their best assets. The reports I've seen quote between £130 -150,000 a week. If you look at the wages of people like Rooney, you will see that that is not an unreasonable amount at today's prices. Btw, Gareth stating isn't news to me as I told Batty yesterday!

"Ha! Well that's where you're wrong you deranged bat cos I've just had a reply from Gareth and he's promised to give us another season so up your big, batty bum :D"

How can you say £150,000 a week is not ureasonable ? You, and many other footy fans seem to have lost all touch with reality !

Amen to that MoB..It does promise to be a good game...As I have said before, I don't want Palace to lose but would love it if we didn't win :D Palace fans have no problem with Watfordi...In fact we are two very similar football clubs in many, many ways....Let battle commence and let the best team win.....And no dodgy refereeing decisions.

And by the way I ain't going either....The biggest game the Palace have played in years and I ain't going to be there but will put my colours on and watch the game on Sky....I feel ever so guilty  ...never mind.

No I watched that on Sky as well...I could have gone but we only got 2000 tickets. To qualify for a Brighton ticket you had to be a season ticket holder and purchased at least five away tickets over the course of the season...More than 2000 Palace fans qualified for a ticket so it was limited to one per person and sold on a first come first served basis...I think they sold out in about two hours after the Peterborough match....I am becoming a part time supporter, a true homer....ain't that ever so middle aged.

Thanks MoB.....Phew...I thought for a second that it was us that had done something wrong.....A very messy business if you ask me and an incident that the authorities need to get to the bottom of....I am even more pleased that we wiped the floor with them.

What a great game of football we were treated to last night. I watched German football years ago and it was slow, methodical and boring possession type football. Utterly boring. This new brand of quick inter passing and through balls is exciting to watch as a spectator so well done to both teams.

I looked carefully at the Lewandowski goal which was disallowed. I only saw one replay but it looked pretty fair to me. Goal or not it was a great strike. Robben was outstanding - never stopped running. The only downsides for me were Ribery rolling around every time anyone looked at him and players writhing on the ground when they had hardly been touched. They need to man up.

So we move on to Monday's games. Sorry it's not us :( but I hope we get a good game and good luck to both teams  Whoever wins we'll probably see you next year!!

Palace's Olly is reported as saying that it would be a ' Fairy Story ' ending if Zaha scored the goal that resulted in Palace being promoted ... but would it given that he leaves them on Tuesday for ManU ?

Watford have spent a few days relaxing in Marbella in preparation for this match, what did Palace do ?
