Don't know much about growing cannabis.

OH has grown tomatoes in grow bags and pots. He prefers pots as he feels he can clean the base easier.
This year he is only using pots for peppers, cucumbers, aubergines and tomatoes.
Last year he planted a grape vine which is doing really well.
This year he is trying melons and currently has a lemon tree which is looking good.
Ours is used more for growing from seed and repotting but after many years he is beginning to experiment.
Good luck in whatever you grow , the garden expert will soon be along to give you proper advise.

Oh good grief - where did I say I was growing cannabis? Mind you could be a good sideline - presume I need a heater the size of the national grid though.

Garden finished last night..at last.

Hanging baskets and pots planted up and looking good.

A quick tip for other gardeners... if you get a hollow at the bottom of your compost bin and wish to push the compost down...do not climb in and jump up and down..... when it suddenly gives way you can scrape your leg on the inside of the bin! :o :(

Well, I dug a trench about 3 feet wide and a spade and an half deep. Put a layer of shredded paper in the bottom, a layer of grass cuttings on that (I had been saving them since I started mowing the lawn this year), then a layer of well-rotted horse manure on top and re-fill with the soil. All this not only adds nutrition to the soil but it helps to retain moisture in the ground, which runner beans love. I erected two rows of 8 foot bamboo canes, 2'6" apart and 1 foot between the canes, crossing at about 3 feet from the ground so that the tops were sticking out either side. Doing it this way means that when the plants twine up the canes, the beans at the top are hanging down on the outside, giving them more sunlight and making them easier to pick.

Simples. Mind you, I was knackered after doing all that !

Eat the chickens before the bloody dogs get them. Leave a few feathers strewn about the garden and tell the neighbour you saw a fox out there last night

Fair point - any fox showing its face outside its den would be in a pie before it could blink
